Fourteen floors down, in a secured elevator, Zardon’s personal lab is a monstrous affair. Closer to a medieval torture pit than anything you’d see Pepper Potts delivering coffee to Tony Stark in. When you absolutely, positively, definitely need the truth – then Zardon’s inner chamber is where the torture testing will happen. However, sometimes you just want it fast and loose. To smack 2 stones against each other and see which, if either, breaks. KitGuru picks up a GTX470 in one hand and a pair of Radeon HD 5770s in the other, before smacking them together to see what gives. GITR. Get In The Ring!

The idea of running multiple monitors for gaming has been a fantasy for games since gaming first came out. In the PC gaming world it has taken a long time to realize the full potential of the GPU and the limitation put on them from a single monitor setup. The amount of pixel pushing power in today's GPU has been screaming for a multi-display setup.

Today however we have something special in mind for our readers. The new Sapphire HD5770 Flex Edition which can support up to four monitors via ATI Eyefinity. Sapphire have managed to achieve this by using three DVI connections – one being an HDMI to DVI adapter. The card itself operates at 850 mhz core and 1200mhz (4800mhz effective) on the GDDR5 memory.

There is no doubt that the NVIDIA GTX 460 has created quite a splash since its introduction. The reconfigured Fermi architecture of the new GF104 chip gives the card a welcome boost in gaming performance, compared to the first GPUs in the series. With 1/3 fewer transistors to feed, the board uses much less power, runs cooler, and it overclocks well with just air cooling. With that kind of capability baked into the basic design, it didn't take long for NVIDIA's partners to start releasing overclocked editions with advanced cooling hardware. MSI has taken on the challenge, and released one of their custom designs under the Cyclone banner. Benchmark Reviews can't resist a good HSF assembly; that much should be obvious to long term readers. So here we are with a detailed review of the MSI N460GTX Cyclone 1GD5/OC video card.

Today we have the XFX Radeon 5830 XXX Edition on our test bench and it will be put through its paces in a selection of real world gaming, multimedia and GPU computing tasks. As always these will feature DirectX 11 titles such as Alien Vs. Predator but we have also updated our test suite to include a first look at Mafia 2, Lost Planet 2 as well as StarCraft 2 and 3D Blu-Ray.

With the help of the Gainward GTX 460 GLH Edition, the Palit GTX 460 Sonic Platinum and our favorite overclocking program from MSI, Afterburner, we're going to try and move past that 800MHz default clock the companies offer and see what we're able to achieve out of this $500 setup that has offered us simply amazing performance already.

The 5850 PCS+ is a factory overclocked model with enhanced cooler and we will be putting it thorough a selection of real world tests, including StarCraft 2, to establish how it compares to the best 5830 on the market. In addition to this we will also take a look at how both cards perform in the recently released Mafia 2 and Lost Planet 2 benchmarks before concluding with some 3D Blu-Ray playback and GPU computing tasks.

Today we are looking at another 5000 series card from HIS, the HIS HD5850 iCooler V Turbo. The last HIS card we reviewed was the IceQ 5 5770 and in a similar fashion the HD5850 shares a factory pre-overclock.
