Sparkle announced their X680/X670 graphics cards in September and today we have the flagship Calibre X680 Captain in for review. This card utilises a 2oz Copper PCB and CoolPro Cooling system, with Triple Silent PWN fans. The cooler has been specially designed to optimise airflow through the large heatsink, supported by six substantial heatpipes. The card uses a 6+2 phase power design to help with stability under load.

Today for review I've got a video card from Sparkle Computer Corp, it's an Nvidia based GT240 that has 512MB of ram built-in. With those specs I'm sure you can guess it's not really a card you'd want for gaming, but it has it's place nonetheless. It does feature a native HDMI port, along with both VGA and DVI ports on it, so no adapter needed for HDMI which is nice. The card is also rather inexpensive and virtually silent, it would make a good choice for an HTPC I'm sure. So read on...

Hey, hey, looks it’s another Sparkle video card review. This time it’s another GT240, but it’s the low-profile version meaning that it’s made for smaller cases like an HTPC for instance. That’s doesn’t mean though that it can’t be used for light gaming and anything else a video card is used for.

I’ve got another Sparkle video card for review today, no it’s not another GT240, it’s the GT430. It’s a small low-profile card so it would work great with an HTPC, or a small, basic gaming system. You’re not going to be playing Crysis on it but it can handle some other light gaming and as a plus it is Direct X 11 capable.

The Sparkle GTS450 comes packed with 1GB of RAM and Sparkle has gone ahead and overclocked this card for that little extra kick. If you are looking to upgrade your machine and not break the bank, the Sparkle GTS450 might be for you.

$500 is not much to pay for someone determined to have the best of the best video card, but this only describes a handful of well-off individuals. The rest of us have to make trade-offs; naturally, we want the biggest bang for our buck. Cards like the GeForce GTX 465 exist to fill that niche; they offer performance that's fairly close to their top-end brethren for a more reasonable price. Sparkle has sent us a card that looks to be gunning for that market of enthusiastic-gamer-who-isn't-filthy-rich, based on the GeForce GTX 465 using nVidia's reference design.

If you have just built a new system and want to pick up a capable, yet inexpensive graphics card then there are no shortage of options available under £150. Today we are looking at the Sparkle GTX650 Ti Dragon Series priced around the £120 inc vat mark. Is this card capable of powering the latest Direct X 10 and Direct X 11 titles at HD resolution? Today we aim to find out.
