It's an impressive feat that ASUS was able to design such a small GeForce GTX 670. It's a smart move, in our opinion, as compact Mini-ITX systems are gaining in popularity. The ASUS GTX670 DirectCU Mini is by far the fastest graphics card in this size, so if you're building a compact gaming PC that can't fit standard high-end cards, this is an excellent option.
If you're a hardware enthusiast this card isn't really relevant for you, but more than likely there's someone in your family or circle of friends that owns an old PC and would like a little better graphical performance. The ASUS GTX650-E-2GD5 is perfect for systems like that, as it doesn't require a PEG connector and gets all of its power from the PCI-Express bus.
Asus are one of the biggest component manufacturers on the planet producing some of the finest video cards for both Nvidia and AMD markets. Today we are looking at their new ultra high end video cards, the GTX590 and the HD6990.
I've looked at a couple of video cards over the past few months, each being more powerful (and expensive) than the previous. It all started with MSI's R6850 which retailed for $177.99 at the time of our review. This card is factory overclocked by 10 MHz (772 MHz reference) but ASUS also offers a higher factory overclocked version of this card at 816 MHz.
