The latest AMD Curacao XT-based video cards are poised to supply the market with plenty of graphics power and added value for mainstream gamers – especially as Battlefield 4 readies for launch with realistic DirectX 11 special effects. Sapphire, the leading name in AMD Radeon desktop products, have released their own Radeon R9 270X complete with an exclusive second-generation Vapor-X lightweight vapor-chamber cooling system. Sapphire further improves upon the AMD reference design by incorporating dual UEFI and BIOS firmware support, long-life 5000-hour capacitors, and Black Diamond electronic chokes. In this article Benchmark Reviews tests the Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Vapor-X, which sells online for $219 and features a 1100 MHz factory-overclocked UltraHD 4K resolution-ready graphics card with 1280 Stream processors and support for the upcoming DirectX 11.2 API.

Thanks to Sapphire Technologies we have been able to get our hands on the all new R9 Series 270X graphics card with Vapor – X cooling technology allowing for quieter and cooler system than previous. Sapphire Technologies is based out of Hong Kong founded in 2001 and produces graphics cards for PC’s and workstations, motherboards, and more. Further this is the largest supplier of ATI based GPU’s. And thanks to them we have the opportunity to review this amazing R9 270x GPU.

Zum Test haben wir uns die Radeon R9 280 Dual-X OC von Hersteller Sapphire eingeladen. Diese Karte trägt den Namenszusatz "OC" und kommt entsprechend mit Overclocking ab Werk zum Kunden. Ebenso freuen dürfen wir uns auf die Darbietung des Dual-X-Kühlers, der das Referenzdesign von AMD ersetzt.

Well AMD’s R9 and R7 series cards are here and that means that video card manufacturers have released their own versions of these cards with custom PCB designs, factory overclocks and custom cooling solutions. One such company is Sapphire and today we are talking a look at their top of the line Radeon R9 280X Toxic. The card not only happens to be Sapphire’s top of the line card, but also one of the most powerful R9 280X’s out there! Sapphire has loaded this card with a factory overclock of 1100 MHz for the core with a 1150 MHz boost and the memory is also overclocked to 6.4 GHz (effective). They are using a custom PCB with a 10 phase power configuration that features double sided black diamond chokes and solid capacitors. Keeping everything cool is Sapphire’s Tri-X coolers that is made up of two 90 mm fans and a single 80 mm fan. Is this the perfect R9 280X for you? Read on as we take a look!
