Next month Intel will be releasing dozens of processors based on the new highly anticipated ‘Haswell’ microarchitecture. These processors use the brand new 22nm 3D Tri-Gate production process and have some pretty interesting features, but we are going to be talking about the graphics aspect of the new processors today. Intel GT3 graphics is said to double the performance over current Intel graphics solutions, but is it coming to desktop processors?

One of the final NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost video cards we're looking at comes from EVGA. Did we leave the best till last?

The Haswell processors will be launched on June 4, and Intel now claims they will offer up to three times the 3D performance of the current Ivy Bridge generation. The fastest integrated GPUs will be called Intel Iris and Intel Iris Pro.

There a whole heap of partners that work with AMD to manufacture graphics cards and with the release of the 7790, I've looked at a card from virtually every major player in the market. It's very rare that this happens to be quite honest as I typically only see three or four cards at a time for each class of card but there's nothing wrong in breaking the mould a little and overall getting one of the most extensive data sets for Bonaire going.
PowerColor is a partner that I've not worked before, but this is not to say that their product is not worth looking at. The then ATI partner, who are owned by TUL, have been producing cards since 1997 and in some respects are a little unheard of these days when compared to the big names such as Asus and Gigabyte to name a few and be-known to some have also produced cards from NVIDIA, although this was done under the Zogis brand name.
With the release of the 7790, like may other partners, we see more than one SKU appear on the market by the brand with two slightly different overclock variants in that. The TurboDuo that I'm going to look over today is the faster and in a way, the better of the two, with a better cooling option and also a higher clock speed out of the box, but the real question is how does it stack up when pitted against the armada of 7790's that I've already seen and tested...

The graphics card landscape is constantly changing as AMD and Nvidia battle for increased market share. While the hot, steamy action always happens in the high end, the majority of sales for both companies are in the less exciting budget sector.
This 2GB board features a new cooler design, which uses a dual heat pipe system with a single aerofoil section fan assembly with dust repelling bearings for maximum efficiency and reliability.

XFXis a well known for their factory overclocked products. In this review we look at
their XFX Radeon HD 7790 Black Edition OC Edition. Let us see how it performs with the
extra performance and if we can overclock it even more.

The latest AMD Radeon HD 7790 GPUs feature a revised AMD PowerTune Technology implementation, with 8 states, more shader units compared to the versions and higher frequencies. The XFX Black Edition implementation comes with raised speeds from the factory and an enhanced Double Dissipation cooling system for a good efficiency, while maintaining low noise levels.

The PowerColor HD 7790 Turbo Duo video card uses a custom single-heatpipe copper heatsink design with a pair of silent 80mm fans for active cooling. The HD 7790 Turbo Duo from PowerColor also comes out of the box with a factory overclock of 1075MHz, compared to the 1000MHz boost clock of the reference Radeon HD 7790. For display output, the PowerColor HD 7790 is equipped with two DVI ports, a full-sized HDMI port and a full-size DisplayPort with full AMD Eyefinity support for 3 or more displays. Through the AMD Catalyst Control Center, or through a future update to PowerColor's own Power Tuner Up utility, users can overclock the HD 7790 for better performance under the latest DirectX11 games. For even further performance increase, the PowerColor HD 7790 Turbo Duo can be Crossfired with another HD 7790 allowing it to outperform more expensive and higher end video cards.
