The EVGA GeForce GTX 770 of course is based on the same GK-104 graphics processor and packs in 1536 CUDA cores, 32 ROPs, 128 Texture units and has a 2GB frame buffer that runs on a 256-bit bus. The EVGA model though runs both the memory and GPU engines at higher frequencies and it also utilizes, EVGA's latest thermal design; the EVGA ACX Cooler. This cooler uses a double ball bearing design that redefines traditional enthusiast coolers. Starting with a 40% increase in heatsink volume, the EVGA ACX is more efficient at dissipating heat, allowing for 15% lower GPU temperatures. A reinforcement baseplate maintains a straight PCB, and helps lower MOSFET temperatures by 7% and memory temperatures by 15%.

Today we take a look at one of the newest GTX 770 models on the market, EVGA's Superclocked Edition. The GTX 770 SC features a new cooler from EVGA as well as a few other tweaks that help to differentiate this from competing models. We'll be putting it through a selection of real world tests against its direct competition from AMD to see how it does in titles like Crysis 3, DOTA2 and Metro: Last Light.

We check out the new GeForce GTX 770 from EVGA under the SuperClocked ACX name and overclock it even higher.

When it comes to performance the EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Superclocked w/ ACX proved to be one heck of a contender! If you game on a single monitor, this card should have plenty of power and be able to run all the game titles with the image quality settings you want. At 1920x1080 this card performed excellent and was nearly equal to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680. Seeing a ~$250 card running with a card that used to be $500 when it first came out is impressive...

Aside from having one of those ever-lengthening industry names, the 750 TI has been called the “Xbox One killer”, as well as having the reputation for producing graphics that rival the PS4 as well as higher end graphics cards.

The GeForce GTX 680 is the latest and greatest graphics processor from NVIDIA, using a new architecture called "Kepler," a new manufacturing process (28 nm), a dynamic overclocking technology, and supporting the PCI Express 3.0 specification.

The new GeForce GTX 670, which is being released today, is a more affordable version of the GeForce GTX 680, costing USD 400 and, therefore, competing with AMD's Radeon HD 7950. Let's see how the SuperClocked model from EVGA fared in our tests.

We will be taking EVGAs latest GTX 670, the FTW Signature 2 Edition and putting it head to head with the ASUS 7970 DirectCU2 to find out how each performs in games such as Far Cry 3, Assassins Creed and Hitman Absolution. Of course this will all be real world gaming and the usual GPU computing, media and power/thermal testing will be thrown in too.

The video card from EVGA we're looking at today is the GeForce GTX 670 FTW LE 2GB. To easily understand where it fits in EVGA's lineup, it their entry level non-reference design offering that's one step higher than the basic reference design. With the term FTW (for the win) in it's name, you'd probably assume that this is one of EVGA's higher end cards. You would be semi-right, as the FTW (and FTW SIG2) version are EVGA's top 2GB GTX 670 products. It's the LE suffix that denotes the lower end of the scale. To me, FTW LE is an oxymoron.
