Sapphire has put together another great graphics card that does sit in a niche market, but with a very good agenda. This card is geared to provide Eyefinity to the masses and does so with enough performance to actually make a multi-display setup worthwhile to build.

Passively cooled components are becoming ever more in demand these days as people are looking for quiet solutions that are still high performance. Recently we took a look at one of those as we reviewed Powercolor’s HD 7850 SCS3 passively cooled graphics card and if you haven’t already seen that then we encourage you to check that review out here. However, we had some feedback about the product with readers and Powercolor themselves enquiring whether we could test it with fans to show how effective the heatsink design really is. Today we are going to do exactly that as we put the PowerColor HD 7850 SCS3 through its “thermal paces” in passive mode, with a 120mm fan and with a 140mm fan.
We will be using a Prolimatech Vortex 12 Blue LED Fan at 1200RPM for the 120mm fan test and a Noctua NF-A14 ULN fan at 800RPM for the 140mm fan test. This way we have high performance fans but tamed at an RPM that most users would still find very quiet or near-silent which is what you will really want if you’ve bought a passive graphics card and just want to give it a little extra “helping hand” with airflow.
But without any further ado let us proceed and take a look at the temperature and noise results!

RV740 is often misunderstood as the successor to RV730 which in fact is far from it. RV740 is expected to take the market by storm by Q2 next year as the best value/performance chip from AMD. It is AMD's first 40nm GPG chip with all IP being re-designed and characterized for 40nm. Due to its 40nm process, power consumption clearly will be much lower than HD 4830 yet faster. Performance of RV740 is estimated to be between HD 4830 and HD 4850.

In this review we will be looking at the new NVidia GeForce GTX 275. This graphics card is a new hybrid that bridges the gap between the GeForce GTX 260 and the GeForce GTX 295. The GTX 275 takes a little bit of both products to create a powerful new graphics card that neatly blends price and performance.

Almost a week ago we spoke about the summer period and how it was just around the corner but we were actually a bit off and so while taking a stroll at the beach this morning to clear my head not only did i see many people there as well but most of them weren't there to take a stroll like me (some obviously did) but actually swim and play volley and rackets while listening to music. To my surprise however most people used just the speakers from their smartphones to do that while only a couple did actually use wired portable speakers and not wireless ones. Things got even worse when i realized that i knew one of the people there so when i asked why he was using his iPhone to play to music without an extra speaker he wasn't actually aware about the existence of Bluetooth portable speakers. Now i don't know if this has to do with the job description people have (he happens to be a doctor) but portable Bluetooth speakers have been around for many years so that's not an answer i would expect from anyone. Anyways that's also a reason as to why we will be releasing our portable Bluetooth speaker related reviews a bit faster than we had initially planned and so today we present the latest arion portable bluetooth speaker by Eagle Tech.

When it comes to the Radeon HD 4890 it is hands down the fastest single-GPU graphics card that AMD has every produced. It performs significantly better than the Radeon HD 4870 1GB and runs cooler and uses less power at idle. There really is not much bad to say about the card as it is also priced lower than the GeForce GTX 275. Add in the fact that it has already proven itself to be an overclocking monster with a core clock frequency of nearly 1GHz with the stock cooler and no voltage adjustments you have a clear winner for all the Radeon fans out there.

Today we are going to look at the AMD Radeon HD 6670 graphics card which is designed for people who want to improve the media capabilities of their machine and perhaps engage in some casual gaming. AMD have also included Eyefinity support on this card, meaning it is perfect for those who want a multi-screen setup.

Video cards have actually been really quiet lately. The fact that both AMD and NVIDIA have had the current crop of models out for a while means that most companies have exhausted ways to make them stand out from the pack. Still, with that being said, it's not dead completely. So today we're looking at a HD 6770 from the peeps over at HIS. The HD 6770 is a great mid-range model, but we haven't seen companies do heaps with it. It's also one of the more recent VGA releases, so that could have a bit to do with it as well."

Sapphire's Radeon HD5670 offers a budget friendly introduction to some of the new features first made available on the higher end HD5000 series of cards. While it doesn't do anything to really "wow" you, it does provide a compact, low noise solution that would let you experience things like DirectX 11 and Eyefinity in a more modestly priced desktop or HTPC system.

Today we are looking at one of the sexiest GTX 560′s released to date. This card is supplied in a pre overclocked state and features the awesome MSI Twin Frozr II cooler. We have very high expectations for this product and we will be comparing it to a wide variety of cards from both AMD and Nvidia partners.
