While it might've taken a while initially to get the 400 series from NVIDIA, it's safe to say that over the last few months it's full steam ahead as we see more models from the company and even more variations from its partners.

Another launch has brought with it another huge amount of reviews and articles. So far we've looked at the Galaxy, MSI and Palit offerings of the model in standalone review form. We've also looked at the MSI card when overclocked to a massive 950MHz core and we've just finished looking at the Galaxy version in SLI, too.

SLI, CrossFire and just multi card setups in general have held little value over the past few years. But while it hasn't really changed for AMD, it has for NVIDIA; the GTX 400 series has brought with it some exceptional value when it comes to SLI and the main reason for that is NVIDIA has done an exceptional job lately when it comes to increasing the scaling ability with two cards.

Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 is the lowest end model from its 2xx series graphic card and basically this card is based on G92 GPU which is pretty similar with its predecessors; GeForce 9800GT/GTX with additional overclocked core speed. Let us find out how this Galaxy GeForce GTS 250 performs and whether is this one of the best value entry to mainstream graphic cards.

With the new launching of Nvidia latest entry graphic card, Galaxy has announced GeForce GT240 which offers better performance than its predecessor at an affordable price. There are two models available for Galaxy GeForce GT 240; DDR5 and DDR3 with 512MB/1GB memory capacities. FYI, Nvidia GeForce GT240 is the first line of 40nm GPU which supports GDDR5 memory and integrated with 96 stream processors. Without further delay, let us have a deep dive on this product.

Graphic processing unit (GPU) is a compulsory hardware for a computing system; either discrete or integrated. Today integrated GPUs such as Intel G45, AMD 790GX are much better than those in old days but if you are building a gaming system then a discrete GPU will be much better. Today let us have a quick look on Galaxy 9800GT; a decent performance VGA which comes with fair price.

The GTX 470 has a secret weapon, though. Unlike the GTX 480, the GTX 470 loves to be overclocked. There's really some massive performance on tap with the overclock we achieved on the Galaxy GTX 470 OC GC of 803MHz on the core, taking the lead over the much more expensive GTX 480.

While today I'll only be playing with the baby GTX 400 cards, the bottom line is that as the weeks have gone on and companies have taken the time to attack this model with new cooling, we've really been able to see the model for what it is. In its reference form it's an overpriced model that runs too hot, too loud and gets beaten by the HD 5850 at higher resolutions. In the Palit and Galaxy forms, though, the cards have become quieter and cooler overclocking beasts thanks to companies like Galaxy and MSI with their overclocking software Xtreme Tuner HD and Afterburner, respectively.

GALAX has a super-stylish GeForce GTX 960 on its hands with the GTX 960 EXOC, a great addition to the GeForce GTX 960 line up."
