It has only been a few weeks since the launch of the GTX 660 Ti but again NVIDIA are ready with a new card, two in fact, the GTX 650 and GTX 660. Today we will be focusing on the GTX 660 and looking at a couple of overclocked models using resolutions from 1920x1080 to 5760x1080. As always the latest games such as Max Payne 3 and Sleeping Dogs are covered and a little SLI is thrown in too.

The GeForce GTX 660 appears to be a great card for gaming on Full HD resolution. Until recently you had to spend £239 to be able to do that, and now it's less than £200. We did notice that with the highest settings, the GTX 660 was at times a little more sluggish than the faster GTX 660 Ti. You could scale down the settings somewhat, or spend a little more and get the GeForce GTX 660 Ti or Radeon HD 7950.
Les GeFORCE GTX 600 sont indubitablement des cartes avec nombre de qualités, parmi ces dernières, des performances de haut vol en jeu couplées à une consommation bien maitrisée. Le secret : GK104, une puce pensée pour le jeu et rien que pour le jeu, tellement efficace dans ce domaine au regard de la concurrence que le caméléon a pu la monter en gamme passant ainsi du segment performance à celui d'enthousiaste ! Par contre, nVIDIA n'a pas profité de cette relativ e "simplicité" pour doter ses cartes d'un rapport performance/prix imbattable, bien au contraire ! Afin d'y remédier, la GTX 660 Ti toujours basée sur le GK104 a été lancée il y a quelques jours à moindre coût, rejointe aujourd'hui par une GTX 660 encore moins onéreuse mais animée cette fois par un GK106.
