VTX3D are a relative newcomer to the graphics sector, although we have reviewed several of their graphics cards in the past. VTX3D stands for Vertex / 3D and they are the ‘price aggressive’ brand from the TUL Corporation, the parent company of PowerColor.

The bottom line all along has been that you're not going to see any improvement in video card performance unless you're hitting a CPU limitation. With how intensive games are these days, hitting a CPU limitation becomes harder and harder - even more so when you start to throw ultra-high resolutions into the mix.

The other day we checked out the brand new MSI GTX 560 Ti-448 1280MB Twin Frozr III Power Edition and found ourselves extremely impressed what the limited edition model from NVIDIA was offering us for the holiday season. Being part of the Power Edition series from MSI, though, means that it stands out more so than a lot of other companies, and via the help of MSI Afterburner we're able to overclock the card.

First up on our test bench is the HIS Radeon HD 7970 3GB. We will be putting it up against the best of the last generation in a selection of real world tests which include Battlefield 3, Star Wars: The Old Republic and Skyrim… all at 5760x1080. In addition to this we will also look at GPU computing and media performance as well as power and thermal performance.

If you are looking for a video card to power your new HTPC project, or if you are looking for an upgrade to your existing setup that uses integrated video, the Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 LP card is a fairly good choice. If you are looking for a card like this that has to fit a low profile case, this is pretty much your only choice!

The AMD Radeon HD 7950 3GB video card is the toned down version of the Radeon HD 7970 GB and it costs $100 less. AMD sent over a pair of cards for us to try out in CrossFire mode. Read on to see how AMD Radeon HD 7950 does in a multi-GPU CrossFire setup when it comes to performance, power consumption, overclocking and more!

With the release of the Radeon HD 7770 upon us, Sapphire believe they have the best around with their "Overclock Edition".

When we moved away from the single GPU performance via the XFX HD 7770 Black Edition S Super Overclocked 1GB and checked out the CrossFire performance via Sapphire we saw a bit of light at the end of the tunnel thanks to some awesome CrossFire scaling. The issue continued to be the price of the setup, though.
With some strong overclocks out of the box, we wonder what kind of overclocking potential we have with the model. Today we'll be finding that out exactly via the help of the MSI Radeon HD 7770 1GB OC Edition video card. There are of course a few things we need to do before we cover the overclocking side of things.
