Now we come to another test; can the X58A-UD9 really handle Quad SLI with four GTX 480 GPUs? - This is a bigger question than you might think. While we know that GIGABYTE dropped in two NF200 chips (each with 32 PCIe 2.0 lanes), what we do not know is if the power regulation, capacitors and other components can truly handle the current and wattage draw from four GTX 480s along with everything else that would be needed to run the board.

Mit der Gigabyte R9 290X testen wir die zweite Radeon R9 290X, die mit einem eigenen PCB und einem eigenen Kühlsystem daher kommt. Das leistet die GV-R929XOC-4GD.

Two days ago AMD allowed us to review, in a limited capacity, their new R9 280X. Today the review restrictions are released so we can now compare different versions of the card and that starts with Gigabytes R9 280X Windforce 3X model in its factory overclocked form. We will be comparing it to the two closest NVIDIA models (pricing wise) in the form of the GTX 760 and 770 (both OC models) as well as the part the 280X replaces, the 7970 GHZ. Added in is another 280X OC model and we are testing on the latest i7-4960X CPU, Windows 8.1 and games such as Battlefield 4, F1 2013 and Total War: Rome 2.

One of the best things when a new graphics card is released is waiting for custom versions of the card to come out. Many of these cards offer factory overclocks and custom cooling solutions. Not only will this give you better performance, but also quieter and more efficient cooling. Today we are taking a look at an R9 280X from Gigabyte (GV-R928XOC-3GD) which features a factory overclock of 1000 MHz core and 1100 MHz boost. Gigabyte has also installed their own custom WindForce 3X cooler, which should keep things nice and cool. Is the the R9 280X for you? Read on as we take a look...

Another day and another graphics card review. We are again covering the AMD R9 270X after having already reviewed the AMD reference card which you can see here and the ASUS Direct CU II TOP version which you can see here. The next in line for review is a variant from Gigabyte and more specifically the Gigabyte R9 270X WindForce OC 2GB graphics card. This uses Gigabyte's acclaimed WindForce cooling solution with a trio of 75mm fans and an array of copper heat pipes. It also packs a modest 50MHz core overclock out of the box to give you an extra boost in performance. In true Gigabyte fashion they are also going to be targeting a particularly aggressive price point with this card - offering one of the cheapest R9 270X graphics cards on the market and with a custom cooler and factory overclock! The main selling point for Gigabyte is the use of their "Ultra Durable VGA Board" package which essentially means better quality components such as a double inner layer copper PCB, reduced voltage ripple and reduced circuit impedance for a better and more stable GPU.

The Radeon R9 270X graphics card was released by AMD in October 2013 and quickly became a favorite for gamers wanting a new card at the $200 price point. When the AMD Radeon R9 270X card first came out we reviewed the reference card and a high-end custom card by Sapphire. Today we will be taking a look at the Gigabyte R9 270X OC that is sold under part number GV-R927XOC-2GD and retails right now for $199.99 plus shipping. Not a bad price for a custom designed card that is also factory overclocked and backed by 3-year warranty.

The Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X OC edition is a great edition to the mainstream gamer category at a very attractive price point. For $199.99 you get a graphics card that is factory overclocked, quiet, power efficient and can play games on high settings at over 30 frames per second.

In this review we will be looking at a new card from Gigabyte called the GV-R575SL-1GI. Unlike traditional video cards with heatsink and fan combo this Radeon HD5750 comes completely silent and passively cooled.

With the 7970 reigning as AMD's fastest single core card on the market, Gigabyte push it even faster and hope to take the crown as GPU king.
