Without a doubt one of the most highly anticipated releases for 2010 will be the NVIDIA GF100 Fermi graphics card. For nearly a year NVIDIA has told the media and their fans that GF100 is coming and that it will be the best performing graphics card that the world has ever seen. Read on to see what we think after we spend some time with GF100!

NVIDIA was the first to bring 3D Blu-ray (BD) via native HDMI 1.4 to the PC, coupled with HD audio bit stream support in the GTX 460, GTS 450 and GT 430 family of GPUs the home theater PC (HTPC) market has become much more interesting for the enthusiast. A few weeks back MissingRemote took a look at the GTS 450, and while it was a surprisingly good fit it is a little too much GPU for non-gamers. With 96 stream processors, a 128-bit memory bus and only 4 ROPs the GT 430’s hardware is unsuitable for more than casual gaming, but these limitations translate directly into lower power consumption and a format more suitable for use in a HTPC. There is a danger in removing too much hardware from the GPU, read on to find out if NVIDIA hits the HTPC sweet spot.

nVidia launched DX11 a full 6 months behind AMD's Radeon 5000 series and it's been playing catch-up ever since. Today we are looking at the GT430, the latest and lowest priced model in the new Fermi range. It will be nVidia's first Fermi fired into the huge sub-£100 market. Winning will be everything here, so just how many sales can nVidia hope to capture with the GT430? KitGuru investigates.

So far, nVidia’s launch of the Kepler range has gone smoothly. The only real hiccups have come with stock and the re-branding for some of the old 5xx cards into the 610 and 620. With the low and high ends sorted, focus for Bryan Del Rizzo moves to the mid-range and those pesky 7000 cards hanging out below £100. KitGuru spies hang around outside nVidia’s favourite KFC to see what can be overheard.

Offering 3D Blu-ray (BD) via native HDMI 1.4 and HD audio bit stream support, the recently release NVIDIA GTS 450 represents a drastic shift in the market for discrete home theater PC (HTPC) graphics processing units (GPU). With NVIDIA now providing a feature set unmatched by any vendor we finally have serious competition for discrete space in the home theater. Read on to see if the NVIDIA GTS 450 offers the right balance of power and functionality for your HTPC.
