Today we shall review a trio from HIS based on the Radeon HD 6970, Radeon HD 6950 and Radeon HD 6850 GPUs. Some of these solutions copy reference design, but every card is nevertheless factory-overclocked and has a rather efficient cooler.
Today we’re looking at the HIS 6950 IceQ. It’s HIS’s take on a regular 6950, featuring a custom PCB and cooler. Running at the same speed as a reference card, there won’t be much performance improvement until we begin overclocking, where the custom cooler with its massive fan should come into play. Let’s see how it performs.
Today we shall review two graphics cards from HIS. Only one of those - HIS 6850 Fan 1GB GDDR5 HDMI/2xDVI/DP - is actually made by the company, the other copies the reference design.

The enthusiast audience waited throughout 2012 for AMD to come up with a dual GPU HD7970 solution. In the end they failed to deliver, so it fell onto partners to create a solution. Powercolor, VTX3D and Club3d all released the HD7990 last year – a monster dual GPU designed to battle head to head with the Nvidia GTX690.

Vous le savez, en tant que fermiers, nous aimons les grosses machines, moissonneuse batteuse, tracteur et cartes graphiques bi-gpu, mais nous sommes également impressionnés par les petites cartes à destination des PC de type Multimédia. On rentre dans un monde différent, avec une occupation mono slot, voire Low Porile, un refroidissement passif ou un mini ventilateur. Ce type de carte ne nécessite pas d’alimentation externe, à l’heure où certaines cartes peuvent nécessiter deux 8-Pin et un 6-Pin ; on est clairement dans deux mondes différents.

Reste à connaître les performances de la carte face à la 4850 Toxic de la même marque et GS de Gainward.
