Earlier this week Nvidia launched their GTX760 graphics card, the direct replacement for the ever popular GTX660 Ti. We focused on the GTX760 reference card at launch but today we get the chance to look at a customised, overclocked solution from KFA2 – the GTX760 EX. This card is modestly priced at £227.99 inc vat, but it is worth shortlisting?
The final piece needed to get our In Win D-Frame Mini build together was a powerful video card that runs cool, quiet, and matches the red and black theme of the build. For a short while I ran a reference GTX 980 but quickly switched to the Asus GTX 980 Strix. Well today I’m going to take a closer look at the card to see what it Is all about, how it performs, and how well it overclocks. Going off previous Strix reviews we can expect it to run well and stand out in the noise department as well assuming the Strix cooler can keep the GTX 980 running cool.
Today we are taking a look at the HIS HD7870 GHz Edition IceQ Turbo 2GB. HIS are taking the same designing route that the other companies are taking right now, along the lines of GPU cooling. HIS have also equipped a heatpipe design, which makes for a much more effective cooling system, and apparently especially in crossfire setups.
Zotac is competing with Inno3D for the world's fastest video card. Like the Inno3D card (reviewed here), the GeForce GTX 780 Ti AMP! Edition is clocked at very high frequencies, 1006 MHz for the GPU and 1800 MHz for the memory. Impressive numbers indeed!
They say smaller is better - so based on this the AMD R9 Nano should be incredible. But is it?
When nVidia released the GTX460, everyone was literally blown away - this was a mid range card that utterly dominated the market and delivered staggering levels of performance, particularly when overclocked. AMD had left a big hole in its range, from the 5770 to the 5850 - with only the lightweight 5830 offering any resistance in the £130 to £200 market. The headroom on nVidia's GTX460 card was incredible, with voltage tweakable solutions today hitting 1GHz on the core. AMD haven't been asleep on the job though and the new 6800 series is a direct reply to the serious questions the GTX460 has been asking.
Aujourd’hui à la Ferme, une très belle carte ; une CG qui nous vient de chez Gigabyte, avec le style WindForce si cher à la marque. Mais surtout, la carte veut boxer dans la cour des grands avec des atouts certains, en termes de fréquence (Oc d’usine) et une quantité de mémoire augmentée. Tout de suite, on imagine aisément l’apport de ces caractéristiques, en termes de gaming pur et en termes de gestion du multi-écrans.
Die Radeon HD 7970 stellt AMDs aktuelles Flaggschiff dar. Mittlerweile gibt es zahlreiche modifizierte Modelle. Wir sehen uns Asus, MSI, Sapphire und VTX3D genauer an.
Oui c’est un titre exceptionnel, qui vous a impressionné et je regrette presque de ne pas passer l’épreuve de philo de cette session 2012, tant l’inspiration semble me coller à la peau. En même temps, je ne vous mens pas, la carte ne fait pas partie des cartes pour Hardcore Gamer, mais s’adresse à l’intégration dans un boitier à place réduite, afin de faire du multimédia, mais nous avons déjà découvert que ce genre de carte pouvait très bien offrir une puissance suffisante pour transformer sa machine en : plateforme de jeu d’appoint.
