Today we see the first Vapor-X 7000 series card in the shape of a Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 Vapor-X OC Edition. This enhanced version of the 7770 runs at significantly higher clock speeds than the reference model on both core and memory and combines this with a dual fan, vapour chamber cooler and we will be putting it head to head against the GTX 560 in a selection of real world gaming and multimedia tests.

Shortly after the launch of the Radeon HD 7870, the only video cards available were clones of the reference design. Now that we're past the initial launch period, new models of the 7870 are now available which deviate from the standard. The model we're looking at today is called the Double Black Diamond. A step up from the vanilla 7870, the Double Black Diamond comes with an overclock of 50MHz to the GPU and 25MHz (200MHz GDDR5 effective).

NVIDIA recently unveiled two new graphics technologies at the 2012 GPU Technology Conference: NVIDIA GeForce GRID and NVIDIA VGX. You're probably not familiar with either of these 'Cloud Computing' technologies, but in the next few years they'll develop to become quite commonplace. One day in the not so distant future, you could find yourself choosing between a NVIDIA GeForce GRID subscription or NVIDIA GeForce graphics card to play the latest high-end game. In this editorial I explore what these two new technologies offer, and how they will change the graphics industry.

A few weeks ago we reviewed the Nvidia GTX680 and today we are following up with a look at one of the high end, custom cooled, overclocked cards from Nvidia partner KFA2. We have looked at several KFA2 cards in the past and have been impressed with their hardware so far. Is the new GTX680 EX OC worth the high asking price?

It seems each manufacturer is going to take its own unique approach to building a card around the GTX 670 GPU with some going for compact models and others heading for larger PCBs with significant cooling solutions and overclocks. Inno3D fall into the second category and it is their custom GTX 670 which we have on our test bench today.

NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 680 is here. Based on Kepler, it's an interesting beast. It features a reworked architecture, is produced on a 28nm process, introduces things like GPU Boost, Adaptive VSync and TXAA, has a redesigned cooler, and perhaps most important of all, aims to perform better than the competition.

Of the many platforms available for gamers to enjoy video games, there's no question that the highest quality graphics come from PC. While game developers might not consider PC gaming as lucrative as entertainment consoles, companies like NVIDIA use desktop graphics to set the benchmark for smaller more compact designs that make it into notebooks, tablets, and smartphone devices. NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture is an example of this, delivering unprecedented performance while operating cooler and consuming far less power than previous flagship discrete graphics cards. In this article Benchmark Reviews tests the NVIDIA GeForce GTX680 video card equipped with a 28nm GK104 Kepler GPU, and compares it against the best DirectX 11 video cards available. Featuring their new NVIDIA GPU Boost technology, the GeForce GTX 680 video card can dynamically adjust power and clock speeds based on real-time application demands.
