With nVidia's launch of the GTX 570/580 series video cards last November, prices on the 400 models have slowly begun to decline. As Shawn noted in our recent Zotac GTX 480 review, retailers simply can't continue to sell previous generation cards at the same price as the new ones, and most manufacturers are offering rebates and other incentives to move out existing stock. At the same time nVidia quietly added the GTX 460 SE to its lineup, a cheaper version of the original 460, at the expense of some of its performance. With the January release of the GTX 560 Ti, we're seeing even deeper cuts on the 400 series cards, such as this nVidia GeForce GTX 460 from Computer Geeks

Overclocking on its own is a great way to get more performance out of a product without having to spend any more money. What the ability of adjusting voltage does is really open up the flood gates. What was an impressive overclock before with the default voltage, is nothing now compared to what you can achieve using more voltage.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 might not be the coolest running graphics accelerator around, but that doesn't stop overclockers from attempting voltage modifications on it. Guide inside.

So today one of the most discussed graphics card launches of all time takes place; join us as we take a look at the real world performance of the GTX 480 covering DirectX 9, 10, 10.1 and 11 gaming, GPU Computing (CUDA), High Definition playback, PhysX, 3DVision, gaming with 32x anti-aliasing and even 3D-DVD playback. If that’s not enough then how about internal and external temperature readings, power use then some overclocking?
