Yesterday we published our UK exclusive review of the new strictly limited edition KFA2 GeForce GTX 680 LTD OC 2048MB with a staggering boost speed of 1,268mhz. Since we published the review, we received emails asking if we could run a few tests in Sli, and measure system power consumption. Today, we aim to please.
We know that Kitguru readers love video cards with enhanced cooling, so today’s product review will certainly get the juices flowing. We are going to be testing two of the latest KFA2 Geforce GTX580 ‘Anarchy Edition’ cards in SLI. These cards feature the excellent Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme Plus with tri fan cooling solution.
This time we got two GeForce GTX 560 Ti products for review. One is made by KFA2, the other, by Gigabyte. Both solutions are custom-made, and the Gigabyte's card is also extremely factory-overclocked, so it should be very fast.
Graphic cards
When NVidia released the 470 back last March, the reference cards were known to have some thermal issues and keeping cool due to the 3 billion transistors that had been embedded onto the GF100 GPU’s. This is where KFA2 have stepped upto the challenge to not only overcome the cooling but to also cool a card that they will supply overclocked as standard. This challenge is right up their street.
Today we'll take a first look at the flagship NVIDIA GPU of the current generation, the mighty GeForce Titan. The review will also include tests in a solid number of games, and a comparison with other top graphics adapters.
The Multi-GPU index is a portable set of data that we assign to determine the multi-gpu potential of any motherboard. A higher index number indicates a favorable condition for multiple graphics cards while a lower number indicates a hindrance in one of our leading indicators. The Haswell processors will be launched on June 4, and Intel now claims they will offer up to three times the 3D performance of the current Ivy Bridge generation. The fastest integrated GPUs will be called Intel Iris and Intel Iris Pro.
Next month Intel will be releasing dozens of processors based on the new highly anticipated ‘Haswell’ microarchitecture. These processors use the brand new 22nm 3D Tri-Gate production process and have some pretty interesting features, but we are going to be talking about the graphics aspect of the new processors today. Intel GT3 graphics is said to double the performance over current Intel graphics solutions, but is it coming to desktop processors?
