I saw the press release the other week for the Black GTX 460 from ECS and ever since then I've been a pain to them asking when I was going to get a chance to look at it. The moment I saw the card and that massive Arctic Cooling cooler that ECS had implemented, I knew it was going to be a beast. The question we ask now, is it beasty enough?

Natürlich sind wir auf so eine Karte aufmerksam geworden und uns die 768 MB Version besorgt.
The ECS Black GeForce GTX 460 graphics card comes with 336 CUDA cores that are factory overclocked to 765MHz on the core clock, which is way up from the 675MHz used on the NVIDIA reference design. This morning NVIDIA has introduced the GeForce GTX 580 video card after many weeks of rumors. It has only been seven months since NVIDIA released the GeForce GTX 480 video card, but that card is officially no longer the flagship GPU of the NVIDIA arsenal. Priced at $499, the GeForce GTX 580 comes at the same suggested retail price as the GeForce GTX 480 did, but the video card has higher clock speeds and all 512 CUDA cores enabled thanks to a new GPU die revision.

We've welcomed the new HD 6800 series with open arms and while the HD 6870 might be the faster of the two cards, the HD 6850 represents some great value for money. When we add a second one into the mix we do see that the overall value does dip slightly, but the performance gains are really strong.
