Today we have four GTX 560 Ti 448 Core cards in our system with models from ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI and ZOTAC all looking to persuade consumers to part with their hard earned money.

With lots of rumours about AMD and Nvidia releasing new cards in 2012, we find a lot of graphics card manufacturers clinching on to the life of the current cards and trying to spice things up to give a breath of fresh air to an already old card.
The 6970 isn’t exactly old, as it’s still very current, but with a fast paced industry like this one, technology is old before its even been released. This is down to the manufacturer’s starting the thought process on its sucessor already, even at the early stages, and that’s a good thing, as it keeps the tech fast moving and invites new things to be brought to the table.

Evga were originally founded in 1999 and are focussed towards lots of different markets, including the system builder, distribution and of course, the retail sector. Whilst they have a lot of product ranges which including graphics, motherboards, displays, peripherals and much more, we want to focus more on the VGA side of their business today.

The other day we checked out the brand new MSI GTX 560 Ti-448 1280MB Twin Frozr III Power Edition and found ourselves extremely impressed what the limited edition model from NVIDIA was offering us for the holiday season. Being part of the Power Edition series from MSI, though, means that it stands out more so than a lot of other companies, and via the help of MSI Afterburner we're able to overclock the card.

Today we shall review a Radeon HD 6850 graphics card from Sapphire that belongs to the Vapor-X series thanks to the custom cooler it has. Let's see how efficient this solution is.

MSI’s R6950 Twin Frozr III 1G/OC graphics card might only have 1GB of memory, but it's factory overclocked and is equipped with the latest Twin Frozr III dual fan GPU cooler. We put the MSI R6950 Twin Frozr III 1G/OC to the test on our Intel Sandy Bridge-E test system to see how it performs against several NVIDIA GeForce 500 series video cards. We also overclock it to the max and see what it can do!

Today we are looking at a highly modified Nvidia GTX 570 solution from MSI, featuring an uprated power configuration, voltage adjustment and a dual fan Twin Frozr III cooler. Not only has the card been modified from the ground up for ultimate performance, but MSI have included new Propeller Blade fans to enhance airflow by 20 percent. MSI claim that these fans reduce GPU temperature by 18c and fan noise by 7.7 dBa when compared against the reference solution.

If you don't follow the video card market almost daily, it is really complicated to understand the differences between the several different NVIDIA graphics chips available on the market today. To facilitate knowing and understanding the differences among these chips, we have compiled the following table:

GCN-Architektur
angenommen 2048 1D Shader-Einheiten
angenommen 128 Textureneinheiten
wahrscheinlich 48 Raster Operation Units
384 Bit DDR Speicherinterface (bis GDDR5)
maximaler Takt: Chip etwas unter 1000 MHz, Speicher angenommen 2500-2750 MHz
maximale Rechenleistung: etwas unter 4 GFlops (SP)
maximale Speicherbandbreite: 240-264 GB/sec
