The GTX580 has been Nvidia’s finest moment. The card has been a big seller since it was released and it leads many of the performance charts when we factor out the dual GPU solutions. Today we are looking at the MSI N580GTX Lightning, a heavily modified card designed to target the enthusiast gamer audience.

History always repeats itself, and NVIDIA is hoping for a repeat performance with their new GTX 560 Ti video card. With performance per mm2 and per watt numbers that put the first Fermi chips to shame, the GTX 460 deserves all the success it has enjoyed. The MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II/OC model offers up a modest 7! % factory overclock, but I'm guessing there's more where that came from. Price wise the GTX550-Ti will fit in just nicely between the GTX460 and GTS450 and also the Radeon HD5570, so let's find out where it fits performance wise.
