Inno3D iChill GTX 980 Ti X3 Ultra Review @ Hardware-Mag.de
Graphic cards
Today I’ll be reviewing the new nVidia GT430 – manufactured by Inno3D. It would appear from pricing and marketing strategies, that the GT430 is aimed at media/low-end PC’s, however, to conclude this; we’ll have to see how well it does in our gaming benchmarks.

Today I am going to be taking a look at a product from a very well known name in the world of graphics cards. The manufacturer is Inno3d and the product I will be reviewing is a new card from them in the shape of a GT240. One of their mid range overclocked cards from the iChill range, so whilst I know it’s not top end stuff I am still expecting some reasonable results.

Anyway, rumours tell us that this GTX460 card should be a brilliant mid-range card, and from nVidia’s current pricing, I predict it to be priced around £160-190. Rumours also mention that this card may well overclock brilliantly, however, we won’t make any assumptions at this point in the review.

Watercooling the GTX480 is a night and day difference in temperatures. Load temperatures are dropped 36oC (!) degrees and idle temperatures are dropped 22oC. The watercooled card is only 5 degrees warmer under full load than the stock cooler managed to keep the card at idle!

The iChill GTS 450 from InnoVISION comes with a mild factory overclock and features a custom cooling solution. The temperature and power usage is quite low for a Fermi based GPU. In this review we compare it to 9 different video cards, including the ATI Radeon HD 5770.

Next month Intel will be releasing dozens of processors based on the new highly anticipated ‘Haswell’ microarchitecture. These processors use the brand new 22nm 3D Tri-Gate production process and have some pretty interesting features, but we are going to be talking about the graphics aspect of the new processors today. Intel GT3 graphics is said to double the performance over current Intel graphics solutions, but is it coming to desktop processors?

The Haswell processors will be launched on June 4, and Intel now claims they will offer up to three times the 3D performance of the current Ivy Bridge generation. The fastest integrated GPUs will be called Intel Iris and Intel Iris Pro.
