As part of the Sandy Bridge Extreme CPU launch, Benchmark Reviews received several new X79 Express motherboards to test. Each motherboard's aimed at a different audience and has different features. In this article I'll compare the stock and overclocked performance of each motherboard to see if there are any significant differences.

The ASUS name has always been synonymous with quality and performance, and the Sabertooth P67 doesn't disappoint. We actually got a better overclock from it than the Maximus IV Extreme we looked at previously. Not that we put all that much effort into either overclock, but getting an extra 1GHz out of the Sabertooth P67 with minimal effort was impressive.
