Just before the launch of the Intel Z68 chipset, we had the opportunity to preview the Z68X-UD7-B3 and Z68X-UD3H-B3 Motherboards in Taiwan. Earlier this week we did a full review on the GIGABYTE Z68X-UD7-B3 Motherboard and if you're interested in a really top end Z68 board, I'd highly recommend checking that review out, especially if you're interested in a multi GPU setup

LucidLogix Virtu opens up the possibility of significantly accelerated video transcoding via Intel QuickSync to smart users who install a purpose-bred discreet PCI Express x16 videocard for 3D gaming. That's all well and good, but the Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD5-B3 does not have onboard video ports... What happens to Virtu? Can you still use LucidLogic Virtu to accelerate video transcoding? We'll get to the GA-Z68X-UD5-B3's limitations in these respects.....

Gigabyte released 11 motherboard models based on the new Intel Z68 chipset. With prices ranging from USD 120 to USD 350, there is a model for any kind of user. We've already seen one of the most expensive models, the Z68X-UD5-B3. Today we are taking a look at one of the mid-range models, the Z68X-UD3H-B3, which supports the Virtu technology.

Earlier this month GIGABYTE invited us over to check out both the Z68X-UD7-B3 and Z68X-UD3H-B3 Motherboards in Taiwan. Because the preview on the GIGABYTE boards wasn't done in house and didn't include the contents of the package nor our standard photo line-up, we'll be covering the board as we would normally cover one that we hadn't previewed.

The ASRock H61M/U3S3 is an entry-level socket 1155 motherboard, based on the Intel H61 chipset and using the microATX form factor, costing only USD 80. Even though it is a budget model, it features two SATA-600 ports (which are not usually found on H61-based motherboards), two USB 3.0 ports, and one PCI Express x16 slot. Let's take a look at it.

As the days go on we find ourselves with more and more Z68 based boards arriving in our labs for us to look at. The latest today is from ASUS and carries with it the P8Z68-V Pro model name. We didn't preview any ASUS boards prior to the Z68 launch, so we'll be looking at what exactly is on offer from the P8Z68-V Pro. We'll get straight into the package to see what is going on there before we have a look at the motherboard itself.

One of the first motherboards we received after the Sandy Bridge launch the Gigabyte P67A-UD7 and we almost instantly fell in love with the board. Sadly were we unable to get the review posted before the worldwide chipset recall but we did spend a considerable amount of time tweaking and tuning the board and even posted some very impressive numbers for the HWBot team.

AMD’s latest Brazos Platform has proven popular over recent months, with many users adopting a secondary low powered system for general, light duties or as the foundation of a high definition media center. Today we are looking at the Gigabyte E350N USB 3 motherboard which is built to the high standards we would expect from Gigabyte.

ECS have become ever more popular as of late, offering up some of the latest and greatest features on a variety of boards, for the lowest possible price. This obviously applies to a huge market of consumers wanting the best bang for buck, yet not skimping on quality. ECS have jumped on the Sandy Bridge bandwagon lately and have developed motherboards based on the 1156 socket on both H67 and P67 chipsets.
