Gigabyte is one of the world's largest and leading manufacturers hardware products, and they sell millions of motherbards and other hardware components every year.
The product we are looking at here, is their Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-UP4 motherboard. Onboard you find Digital PWM, support for CrossFire, 3D BIOS, Lucid Universal MVP Support and much much more. But what about the performance?
Motherboards
Here at KitGuru we have tested a whole host of motherboards from different manufacturers, encompassing all the major platforms on the market today. One variety that we haven’t ever tested is a Micro-ATX form factor board on any platform.
Motherboards
Motherboards based on the new H55, H57 and Q57 chipsets are targeted to the new Core i3 and Core i5 processors with integrated video, and Gigabyte has so far released three different models. Today we are going to take a look on H55M-USB3, which brings as main feature the presence of USB 3.0 ports.
Motherboards
Klein, kleiner Mini-ITX.

What a lot of people don't realize, however, is that if you can get by with just a single PCIe x16 expansion slot, a Mini-ITX system can pack one heck of a punch given the right motherboard and supporting hardware. Today we are going to be taking a look at Gigabyte's GA-H55N-USB3 Mini-ITX motherboard which supports Intel's 2010 Core Processor Family based on Socket 1156.

The Gigabyte H77N-WiFi motherboard measures 170x170mm and conforms to the mini-ITX form factor standard. The Gigabyte H77N has dual-stream WiFi features provided by an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 card, capable of Intel Wireless Display and Bluetooth 4.0 functionality. For HTPC users, Gigabyte provides a DVI-I as well as dual HDMI video outputs with 8-channel audio and HDCP compatibility. Unlike other mini-ITX mainboards, the Gigabyte H77N-WiFi motherboard is equipped with dual Realtek 8111F Gigabit LAN ports for additional network connectivity. Should users decide to build a mini-ITX gaming platform, a PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot is available for discrete GPU installation.

The GA-MA770T-UD3P uses Gigabyte's famed Ultra Durable 3 technology on this budget friendly AMD socket AM3 platform. This technology brings 2 oz copper PCB and further helps to reduce the system temperature and dramatically enhance the performance. Based on AMD 770 chipset, the GA-MA770T-UD3P supports all the 45nm AMD AM3 Phenom II series processors that feature DDR3 memory controllers and HyperTransport 3.0 technology. To top all that off the board also features Easy Energy Saver technology to help conserve power and be green friendly. Not a bad list of features considering this board retails for just $79.99 shipped at Newegg! Add in one of the $87 AMD Athlon II 250 3.0GHz dual-core processors and you have a motherboard and processor for under $170.

Last month, we took a look at AMD's new mainstream processor: the Athlon II 250. We were impressed with both performance and cost. Today, Benchmark Reviews looks at an equally impressive motherboard: the Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P. Based on AMD's 770 series chipset, the MA770T-UD3P is one of the first mainstream motherboards to offer full support for AM3 processors and DDR3 memory. Throw in Gigabyte's Ultra Durable 3 manufacturing process and price tag of only $80, and it's easy to see why this board is quickly becoming a budget-build favorite.
