We're excited to see what the Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD7 motherboard is capable of with a 6-core Phenom II X6 1090T chip locked into its AM3 socket....but this article is all about a first look at everything Gigabyte's squeezed in. Enthusiasts will want to take notice of the Port 80 card, illuminated power/reset/CMOS-clear buttons, dual slot spacing for four-way Crossfire of PCI Express x16 videocards and combination Nothbridge waterblock/heatpipe silent thermal solution!
Motherboards
The GA-890GPA-UD3H is aimed at the upper end of the mainstream consumer and business market with options for six SATA 3.0 drives, two USB 3.0 ports and support for up to 140 Watts CPUs. For the more mainstream consumers (and more than a few business users) the HD 4290 integrated graphics will be more than enough to keep things going smoothly. For those of you looking for a little more, the Crossfire support and two x16 mechanical PCIe 2.0 slots will be sure to keep you happy.

Wir haben einen neuen Artikel online, in dem wir uns näher mit Gigabytes Flaggschiff für Sockel AM3+ beschäftigen.:
Motherboards
Welcome to the world of motherboards! This is a place where cheap alternatives often beat the most expensive flagships. Creating a competitively priced but well performing product is the goal. With that in mind, here’s Gigabyte’s new AMD AM3+ socket motherboard, the GA-990FXA-UD7, based on the AMD 990FX chipset. The AM3+ socket is backwards compatible but is introduced rather early this year to be the base platform for the upcoming Zambezi CPU’s, based on the Bulldozer architecture.
