Let's Go !

Today we’re looking at ASUS’ P8Z77-V PRO. Ranking 2nd in ASUS’s mainstream line of motherboards, ranking slightly above the P8Z77-V, and below the P8Z77-V DELUXE. Offering a 12-Phase all-digital power delivery design, 100% Japanese Capacitors, and support for SLI and CrossFire, it boasts all the required features required for a mainstream gamer or overclocker. So what do you say we put it through its paces and see where it ranks, yes?

Over the years Sapphire have earned a reputation as one of AMD’s strongest partners, bringing to market high quality, performance graphics cards. Their VaporX and Toxic Editions have garnered a passionate enthusiast audience who wait patiently for their release. In the past Sapphire have successfully delved outside the graphics card arena, releasing a full range of ‘Pure’ branded power supplies.

I'm a really big fan of the mATX platform, even more so over the last few years as we've seen that moving to the mATX platform doesn't mean you need to sacrifice the power that most full size ATX boards bring. The release of the new Z68 chipset means a bunch of new boards from companies and today we'll be looking at our first mATX version of the new chipset. The Z68 Pro3-M from ASRock carries a very similar name to a board we've already looked at, the ASRock Z68 Pro3. Of course, the M in this case means we're dealing with an mATX version.

ASRock aren’t often considered as one of the top motherboard manufacturers around but at KitGuru, we think their products are somewhat underrated. We recently looked at their P55 Extreme4 Motherboard which walked away with our most prestigious ‘Must Have’ award.

Today we are delving back into the high end Intel marketplace with a look at a motherboard designed for gamers and enthusiasts. This is our ASRock X99X Killer Review.

Over the last month or so we have covered Intel's latest generation of CPUs in a number of ways from the initial CPU article, through system reviews and motherboard comparisons. In that last category we looked at MSI's Z77-G45 Gaming board and it scored well against a slightly cheaper offering from another manufacturer. Having seen that MSI felt they could compete really well with their G43 board so today we have that very product on our test bench to see how it compares.
