I'm just going to come out and say it. When GIGABYTE released the G1 line-up, I hated it. I was really bummed that they decided to concentrate on the X58 chipset and ignore the P67 chipset. By the time the G1 line came out the 2600k had well and truly established itself as the processor to buy thanks to its strong overclocking potential and excellent price point.

GIGABYTE is known for putting out very high quality hardware. Today should be no different, at least in terms of quality. What we have to play with today is a little bit different in terms of features. If you have been following the latest Intel Chipsets, the Intel Z68 Chipset has the capabilities to utilize a SSD to speed up the performance of a traditional Hard Drive. The GIGABYTE Z68XP-UD3-iSSD features an integrated Intel Series 311 20GB SSD that is designed for exactly that! How does it perform? Read on to find out!

There are a wide array of motherboard manufacturers cranking out AM3+ boards, with chipsets ranging from the venerable 760G up through the gamut of 800 series. Of course AMD has also refreshed its chipset naming to match the new CPUs, and motherboards based on the 970, 990X and top dog 990FX are also available. It's two of these 900 series of boards that ASUS has sent over for review; the one we will be focusing on today is the Sabertooth 990FX.

I'm not sure why, but I'm a huge fan of the tiny mITX form factor. It's come a long way from the days of VIA powered boards and while they indeed were cool, they just didn't have the performance you could get out of mATX or larger boards which could carry those faster Intel and AMD CPUs. The format has really blown up lately, though, and we're seeing more and more companies offer mITX boards based on chipsets that indeed offer the chance to give us some real performance. Today we're looking at the ASUS P8H67-I which as you can possibly tell from the name, is based on the H67 chipset.

The G1-Killer Sniper 2 is a Z68 based motherboard that has been designed specifically for hardcore gaming. In a world where gaming and enthusiast systems have been combined we find this to be a rather bold product decision.

Sapphire have been releasing a steady stream of products this year, and today we are looking at their latest motherboard, the Pure Platinum Z68 which targets the enthusiast Sandybridge audience. Can the Sapphire product offer enough to stand out in such a crowded marketplace?

This is a review of the Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4-B3 motherboard which is equipped with a (new) 'B3'-stepping Intel P67 chipset. The Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4-B3 motherboard replaces the original Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4 model that was recalled due to the Intel 6-series chipset issue. This is a mainstream ATX motherboard with a great set of workstation features and connectivity, all on a sleek matt-black PCB that looks fantastic in black computer chassis. The board supports 32nm socket LGA1155 2nd Generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7 2xxx-series 'SandyBridge' processors, such as the Core i5 2500K, and can handle dual graphics cards.
