We have already reviewed several 990FX motherboards, but today we are looking at one of the latest boards from Gigabyte, the Bulldozer supporting 990 FXA-UD7. The UD7 series has a great reputation among enthusiast users, so we have high expectations today that this will continue the success story for Gigabyte.

Like any major chipset release, there's bound to be a bunch of boards come in and the release of the new Llano platform is no different. The A75 board that sat at the top of the pile today when it came to grabbing the next product to test is the ASRock A75 Extreme6. Before I started writing this, I actually headed over to NewEgg just to see what kind of price point the A75 Extreme6 came in at, and I found myself legitimately surprised to see that it was currently the most expansive A75 board at $139.99. Don't get me wrong, $139.99 is an extremely good price, but it's just a counteraction to the fact that we usually associate ASRock with offering us some of the cheapest boards on the market. Saying that, we've seen more expensive boards come from the company and stand out.

With the launch of every new motherboard platform, we expect to see a number of different designs from the major motherboard manufacturers. ASU, of course, was ready for the AMD Lynx platform launch with their own set of A55 and A75 socket FM1 motherboards. Here at Benchmark Reviews we used the ASUS F1A75-M Pro motherboard to test the new platform and the all new AMD desktop APU, the A8-3850. In this article, Benchmark Reviews is exploring the motherboard itself, bringing you all the details of the ASUS F1A75-M Pro socket FM1 motherboard.

Today we have the A6-3650 on our test bench along with the Sapphire Pure Platinum A75 motherboard to find out how these models fit into the current marketplace. We'll be running each through a selection of synthetic and real world tests to see just who each appeals to.

Even though the Intel Z68 chipset is out there, motherboards based on the Intel P67 continue to be attractive options for systems based on Intel socket 1155 CPUs. In fact, according to ASUS, the sales of P67-based motherboards are still outperforming those of Z68-based products. The Sabertooth P67 is a top mid-range (or entry high-end, depending on your point of view) motherboard that focuses on quality. Let's see what is so special about this model.

We've already had a look at a bunch of A75 motherboards and today we look at an offering from MSI known as the MSI A75MA-G55. This board stood out instantly for me thanks to its mATX format, which is something that I've been looking for since we received our first A75 motherboard.

The MSI A75MA-G55 is our second micro-ATX form factor socket FM1 motherboard for AMD's new APUs that we are going to look at. The AMD Llano platform is a great little mainstream platform for the casual gamer and everyday user. How will the MSI A75MA-G55 compare to our previous socket FM1 motherboard or even the Intel Z68 system? Read on to find out!
