ECS has released four motherboards based on the Intel H55 chipset, which is targeted to the Core i3 and Core i5 processors with integrated video. H55H-I is a mini-ITX board targeted to users building small home theater computers (HTPC's). Is this motherboard a good pick? Let's see.
Motherboards
Designed to support latest Intel CPUs with integrated graphics and built around Intel's H57 chipset, the H57H-MUS board from ECS also features a complete bundle composed of a USB 3.0 and SATA 6G expansion card, which makes the board a future-proof powerful computing platform, in a mATX board format

Intel H57 is a more "complete" version of the Intel H55 chipset, supporting RAID, 14 USB 2.0 ports (against 12 on H55), and eight PCI Express 2.0 x1 lanes (against six on H55). H57H-MUS from ECS comes with two PCI Express x1 expansion cards to add USB 3.0 ports and SATA-600 (a.k.a. SATA 6G) ports on the motherboard. Let's what you should expect from this product.

The ECS H67H2-I is a very small mini-ITX motherboard for socket 1155 processors, thus being targeted to the new "Sandy Bridge" CPUs. It is based on the Intel H67 chipset and comes with one PCI Express x16 slot, allowing you to build a powerful gaming system using a very small case, and tons of extra features such as Bluetooth connectivity and USB 3.0 ports. Let's take a look at this new release.
Motherboards
Let's take a look at one of the first socket 1155 motherboards that will reach the market, the ECS H67H2-M, based on the forthcoming H67 chipset for future Intel processors based on the "Sandy Bridge" architecture with integrated video.
Motherboards
The subjects of our review today are the H67H2-M Black Deluxe and H67H2-I which are two boards from the m-ATX and mini ITX product families at ECS. We will be running each through a selection of synthetic and real world tests, including Blu-Ray 3D and GPU computing to see how they compare to the reference Intel board.
Motherboards
On the review bench today PCSTATS tests the ECS H67H2-M Black Edition microATX motherboard, built on the Intel H67 B3-stepping chipset and supporting socket LGA1155 Intel 2nd Generation Core i3/i5/i7 2xxx-series 32nm Sandy Bridge processors. The Intel H67 chipset makes it possible to output HD video content via HDMI or Display Port to a big screen HDTV, or hook up dual LCD displays over Analog VGA and DVI monitor connections.
Motherboards
Sandy Bridge is more than just a powerful CPU, it's also one of the most powerful integrated graphics processors ever seen. Coupled with the ECS H67H2-M motherboard we get into Blu-ray playback performance and bitstreaming HD Audio. Could a Sandy Bridge CPU and H67 be the future for your HTPC? Read on to find out!
