So far, Gigabyte has released five motherboard models based on the AMD A75 chipset for the new AMD A-Series of CPUs with integrated graphics chip ("APUs", with prices ranging from USD 100 to USD 130. Let's take a look at the A75M-UD2H, a microATX model that is sold for USD 110.

Today we're going to be looking at our first A75 chipset motherboard in the form of the ASUS F1A75-V Pro. Of course, we've already done a big preview on this board that covered everything on the board and the BIOS; because of that we'll be getting straight into the test system, talk about overclocking and get into the performance side of things. If you want to see more of the board, though, I'd recommend you check out our original preview piece, ASUS F1A75-V Pro (AMD A75) Llano Motherboard Preview.

As we already know, Bulldozer is what everyone is waiting for, but on the way saw a couple of stop gaps for AMD Fusion, the first being Brazos which gave us a low-powered APU that combined the best of both CPU and GPU and still to this date, we believe is perfect for HTPC or server usage. In fact, we believe that so much that we have the Asus E35M1-M Pro powering our server, whilst the Gigabyte E350N-USB3 sits comfortably in our HTPC so we certainly found a use for them.

Now that the all mighty NDA has lifted on the new Llano platform, we're able to bring to you all those motherboards that support the new APU from AMD. Today we'll be looking at the GIGABYTE A75-UD4H. Like the ASUS board, we have already done an extensive preview on this one, so if you haven't already looked at it, I highly recommend you go check out GIGABYTE A75-UD4H (AMD A75) Llano Motherboard Preview to see what's going on with the look of the board and the bundle.

The GIGABYTE Z68X-UD7-B3 motherboard is the latest in a long line of Intel motherboards. Built on the Intel Z68 Express chipset the GIGABYTE Z68X-UD7-B3 supports the latest second generation of Intel Core iX series of processors. So with out a doubt we are going to see some performance! Something's missing though! What is it? Read on to find out what!3

Today for review, is the Asus’ top-end 990FX motherboard, the Crosshair V Formula which is part of their RoG (Republic of Gamers) series of products. Like the Sabertooth 990FX, this boasts an impressive specification that is sure to whet the appetites of enthusiasts.

Not that long ago it was a significant challenge to build a small and quiet home theater PC (HTPC). Mini-ITX was an option, but case selection was limited and more importantly the form factor was held back by the lack of decent integrated video performance and the power/heat dissipation requirements of the processor (CPU) and graphics (GPU). With both of those concerns addressed with Intel’s Sandy Bridge (SNB) architecture the next, natural evolution turned toward the mainboard. Intel responded again with a thin PC standard and today we have a chance to look at the first full featured implementation – the Intel DH61AG Media Series motherboard. In our first look several features were outlined besides the slim physique that make it especially interesting to the HTPC crowd; including a built in 19V DC power connector, mSATA support, eight channel analog line level audio and the brand new “HTPC” header which, with the right hardware can enable affordable HDMI CEC on the PC; today we couple it with a 2.7GHz 35 watt Core i5-2390T to find out if DH61AG makes good on the initial promise.
