Following the trend of companies expanding with new series, today we're looking at the new Genesis kit from Kingston which is part of the popular HyperX series we know and love. While named Genesis, the term we've been throwing around more is HyperX Grey and that's of course due to the color of the heat spreader that's present.
With GA-E350N-USB3, Gigabyte decided to stand out by offering quality power circuitry and a set of proprietary features normally supported by high-end full-size boards.
Gigabyte released 11 motherboard models based on the new Intel Z68 chipset. With prices ranging from USD 120 to USD 350, there is a model for any kind of user. Let's take a look at one of the most high-end models, the Z68X-UD5-B3, which can be bought today for USD 270.

When I tested the GIGABYTE E350N-USB3 in February I was really impressed with what GIGABYTE and AMD were able to do with the E-350 based Fusion platform. Compared to the competition, it's an aggressive price point, but there's no doubt that some people don't even need all the features that are on offer on the Z68 Extreme4.
With all the news about the P67, the B2 or B3 stepping and now Z68, there is still room for the tried and true X58 chipset. This time on our bench is a mid-range board from GIGABYTE - we have the X58-USB3.
So far, ASRock has released three motherboards based on the new Intel Z68 chipset, two for the mainstream market (Z68 Pro3 and Z68 Pro3-M, which is a Micro-ATX version of the Z68 Pro3), and one for the high-end market (Z68 Extreme4). While the Z68 Extreme4 offers three PCI Express x16 slots, the Z68 Pro3 has only one. Let's take a look at this model from ASRock.
