Let's dive into GIGABYTE's P67A-UD4. This is the "little brother" to the UD7 that we have already told you about. The P67A-UD4 is sort of a scaled back version of the UD7. You get dual x8 SLI and Crossfire and lose a few other features on top of that. Of course, it is not marketed to the same high-end crowd as the UD7, so it does not need the same feature set. But even without Three-Way SLI the UD4 is still a member of the Ultra Durable line and has a great feature set of its own.
AMD’s Fusion Platform was released in January and finally we are starting to see some availability throughout Europe in recent weeks. We have already analysed products from Asus, MSI and Sapphire and today we look at the latest fusion board from Asrock, the E350M1.
Sometimes in this industry, unusual events can occur – such as when AMD partner Sapphire created the Edge HD Mini PC with Intel and Nvidia hardware inside. Zotac are well known as one of Nvidia’s most capable partners, but the system we are reviewing today is based around the AMD Fusion platform. Yes, the Zotac Zbox Plus Bluray system features the low power, dual core Zacate E350 APU.
Die Firma ASRock hat diese Woche im Holiday Inn Hotel Ratingen zum Fatal1ty P67/H67 Event eingeladen und dort einige aktuelle Mainboards vorgestellt.
Zu diesem Event wurden aber nicht nur aktuelle Mainboards gezeigt, denn der bekannte Gamer Johnathan aka Fatal1ty hatte es sich nicht nehmen lassen, ebenfalls dort zu erscheinen.
ASRock hat in Zusammenarbeit mit Fatal1ty das ASRock Fatal1ty P67 Professional Mainboard entwickelt und so lag es nahe, daß Fatal1ty das Produkt Live vorgestellt hat.
Quake war extrem schnell, um genau zu sein, für die Gegner definitiv zu schnell ;-)

Lors de notre dossier consacré à l'architecture Sandy Bridge, nous avions déploré de ne pouvoir tester les performances des IGP intégrés puisque nous n'avions pu nous procurer une carte mère à base de chipset H67, indispensable pour utiliser ce dernier. Ce point à présent réglé, nous avons décidé d'évaluer les performances en jeu des HD 2000 et 3000 sur un panel de 6 jeux DX9/10 et ce en les confrontant à la précédente génération d'IGP Intel, mais aussi face aux HD 4250/4290 intégrés dans les Northbridge 885G/890GX des plateformes AM3 d'AMD. Cerise sur le gâteau, nous avons réussi à nous procurer un E350 qui est la première déclinaison c ommerciale du projet Fusion afin de jauger de son niveau de performance actuel face à l'armada bureautique d'Intel. ASRock is another company that seems to be reworking their image. In the past few years they have moved from being an entry level company to one that designs and manufactures some high-end hardware. One of their newest motherboards to hit the market is the Fatal1ty P67 Professional. This board was co-developed with the help of Jonathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel. For those of you that do not know who this is, Fatal1ty got his start in the late 1990s playing games like Quake III Arena. He was one of a group of people that helped to bring professional gaming into the "real world". He also has his own line of gaming gear and has co-branded with several companies in his career.
