AMD Sockel FM2 Trinity APUs sind zwar bereits im Handel erhältlich, aber nach wie vor werden gerne Sockel FM1 AMD Llano Prozessoren und Mainboards gekauft. Aus diesem Grund haben wir uns nochmal ein Sockel FM1 ASRock A75 Pro4 Mainboard vorgenommen, das wir mit einer AMD A8-3870K Black Edition APU getestet und ordentlich übertaktet haben. Die AMD FM1 Hauptplatine basiert auf dem AMD A75 Chipsatz und verfügt über vier PCI Express Steckplätze, vier USB3.0 Ports, fünf SATA3 Ports, einen eSATA3 Port, Gigabit LAN, 7.1 Soundausgabe und einiges mehr.
Nachdem das Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-UP4 den Anfang gemacht hat, soll unsere FM2-Testreihe mit zwei weiteren Boards aus dem Hause ASRock fortgesetzt werden. Die erste der beiden Platinen ist das ASRock FM2A85X Extreme4-M. Die Platine ist im mATX Formfaktor gefertigt, was sie vor allem für PC-Systeme mit kleinerem Formfaktor interessant macht. Im Vergleich zu vielen Full ATX Platinen mit dem AMD Sockel FM2 hält sich das Board hinsichtlich der Ausstattung jedoch etwas zurück.

The Gigabyte Z77X-UD4H motherboard is a standard ATX form factor with support for second and 3rd generation Intel processors.
