Without a doubt, this is a worthy representative of the AMD 890GX family. It has everything you need for an all-round configuration. And it's actually quite hard to name a specific target audience that could be more interested in ASRock 890GX Extreme3, especially considering its attractive price.
Intel plans to officially launch Z68 Express chipset on May 18th but you will be able to see reviews online from 12th onwards. Of course, those who can't wait for the official launch can already purchase the Gigabyte Z68X-UD7-B3 board from the retail market, first available in Taiwan and then the rest of the world in the coming weeks. Other brands like ASUS and ASRock are set to hit the retail next. Those enthusiasts hoping they can overclock their Sandy Bridge better on Z68 than the P67 will probably be disappointed but there is one important feature of Z68 that matters, and that is the SSD caching.
ASUS P7H57D-V EVO is definitely an original motherboard. However, while the support for the latest peripheral interfaces is nice, the simultaneous support for the integrated graphics and multiple discrete graphics cards seems to be a purely marketing feature that will hardly be useful. But at least you have the freedom to use anything from a low-end CPU and integrated graphics to a top-class quad-core CPU with two discrete graphics cards.

Back during CES we were given the chance to see the launch of a very exciting product. This was the G1 Killer series. From the beginning of the event you could pretty much tell this was going to be something a little different from the norm. Whether it was the pretend military dress or the little leaks about the product that I had heard, I was really looking forward to see this one.
This particular board comes with support for Intel core i7 and i7 Extreme processors, 3 DDR3 slots supporting upto 12GB of DDR3 memory modules of speeds upto 1800MHz (oc). It uses the Intel X58 ICH10R chipset and has integrated 7.1 channel HD gaming audio and Dual Gigabit LAN.
It would have been difficult to miss Intel’s launch of Haswell last weekend. On launch day we looked at the Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC and the ASUS Z87 Sabertooth motherboards and today we analyse the latest high end board from MSI – The Z87 MPower MAX.
