Don’t you hate it when your headphones or earphones get all tangled together? I know I hate it with a passion and many companies have come out with anti tangle style cords but nothing comes close to what I have to show you today. The earphones for review today are called Zippit and they’re from a company called Thumbs Up and what makes them unique is a zipper that connects the right and left sides of the cords together. Yes it has a real zipper you just zip up and down as needed and it really works to keep them tangle free. Being tangle free is a good thing but it’s not all you want in a set of headphones right? Read on to learn more..

Portable Bluetooth sound systems have recently been applying themselves as all-in-one solutions, effectively phasing-out standard docking speakers by providing a wireless solution. This addition allows for manufacturers to think outside the box when it comes to physical design. Instead of being limited to two speakers on the side, and the standard docking connector in the middle, Bluetooth allows a more imaginative, less restrictive layout.
The Yantouch Black Diamond 3 is the perfect example of this free design philosophy. At $129, the somewhat pricy BD3 Bluetooth speaker system has one of the most elegant designs we have seen. As we will see, the performance certainly backs-up not only the look, but also the price.

Xigmatek continues the new trend of 'heatpipe stacking' with its latest heatsink, the SD128264 Aegir. The Aegir is an exposed heatpipe base tower heatsink made to accommodate one or two 120mm fans. A single 120mm 2200-1000RPM PWM fan is supplied with it, and judging by the excellent thermal test results there's really no need for a second... unless you're planning on operating both fans at the slowest possible speeds

One of the benefits of testing computer hardware is that you occasionally get to look at new kit before it's introduced to the market. In my time at Benchmark Reviews, I've been fortunate enough to be able to review some cases and CPUs before they were generally available (or in some cases, before they were even announced). Recently Benchmark Reviews was given the oppotunity to evaluate a prototype of Xigmatek's forthcoming Achilles Plus SD1484 CPU cooler, and I tested it to compares its performance to a variety of air and water coolers.

I’m back with another quick review for you, of a decent little product. Most MP3 players don’t have speakers and most phones has inadequate speakers so what’s a person to do? One thing you can do is get a set of external speakers like the X3i Micro Mobile Speakers that I have for review today. These speakers are small and portable, portability is important I think when it comes to devices like this as surely you’ll take them with you. Sound quality is important as well and these are pretty good and they’re very loud, much louder than you’d expect from such small speakers. Overall they’re perfect for what they need to do, but they do have one small flaw I think…

Sound beyond size,” claims the packaging of the X-mini Capsule Speaker. This tiny collapsible speaker pops open with a twist, and a built-in cable jacks into whatever audio device one desires. With the flick of a switch, and a press of Play, sweet tunes fill the air for up to 20 hours. Does the full package deliver? Read on to find out. X-mini was nice enough to hook us up with one of the UNO Capsule Speakers at CES 2012.

The Mono X-Mini Capsule Speakers have been out for a while and the holidays are once again upon us. Personally I believe these still make the perfect stocking-stuffers and pair nicely with any MP3 player/tablet. Don’t let the tiny size fool you; they only measure 52 x 42mm closed. The X-Mini capsule speaker is small but sturdy, with a weight of only 57.4 grams…and is astoundingly very capable of producing exceptional sounds.

We're in a time where portabability is a key factor in what you purchase and it's because of this, that we see more mobile phones utilising multimedia features and more consumers purchasing tablets such as iPad's and Asus Transformers. Along with this comes the huge market for accessories which adds to the portable friendliness and opens up a whole new market.

Wicked Audio has garnered its reputation on stylish looking headphones at reasonable prices. Based on reviews most of their headphones have been well received in terms of their sound quality. Empire Brands, Wicked’s parent company is looking to attack the pro market with the release of its Solus headphones. The name Solus is derived from the Latin for “Be Yourself”; a philosophically named headset sounds much better than a model number like KSP-212, doesn’t it?
