There was a time when a wireless router did little more than, well, route. It took bits from the airwaves and put them on a wire, destined for the Internet or perhaps the local network. As the technology matured, product designers started adding things. At first, it was software like firewalls, quality of service controls, and port tunneling and forwarding controls. Then came the advanced things such as VPN and jffs-based file storage – sufficient for a small, static HTML site stored on a cordoned-off part of the router’s unused flash ROM. Then came the hardware changes, most relevant to this review being the advent of USB ports. This opened a whole new world of possibilities, generally USB Mass Storage devices and printers. Then Western Digital joined the fray. It added a hard drive to the router. Thus, we have the My Net N900 Central, a 450Mbps x2 high-end wireless router ready act not only as a shuffler of bits, but also as a storer of bits; a router and simple NAS all in one compact device.

If you own a Digital SLR camera you know how much it set you back and you want to keep it nice and safe when you are out shooting. Since I bought my first Digital SLR camera I had a backpack to go with it. Camera backpacks provide great protection for not only your camera, but normally they have room for extra lenses and other accessories. I have quite a few different larger backpacks, but if I’m just going out quickly I don’t want to be hauling a large bag around with me. I’ve always been a fan of sling-type Backpack’s, and having one that can protect and hold me camera is a plus. Today we are taking a look at Caselogic’s SLR Sling Camera Backpack. This backpack features a patent pending hammock suspension system that suspends your SLR above the bottom of case, providing superior impact protection. Let’s jump right in!

TheSnugg continues to offer a great range of cases and accessories for our latest mobile devices. I recently acquired a new Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and knowing it was going to be popular with my small but sometimes clumsy family I decided it needed some protection. This particular case comes in a variety of colors from black to pink, baby blue to white, with my particular choice being “distressed brown”. Some members of the family would have probably chosen pink, but I can’t see me walking around the streets of Stockholm with one of those in hand. The point is there’s a color to suit all styles and tastes, I just happen to fall into the (di)stressed brown category.
