One of the objectives of the HWBOT Team Cup 2013 is to introduce our hardcore hobby to the masses. When MSI asked Madshrimps to attend an OverClock Academy, to promote their Z77 MPOWER mainboards, all systems were go. On the 21st of March we halted at the magnificent CDROMLAND shop located in the lovely Breda. Our goal was not to set new high scores, but to explain how overclocking works and to allow the gathered crowd to get into it themselves.

Linksys has decided to replace its 802.11n products as fast as possible with 802.11ac models, the new WiFi standard that's supposed to be ratified by the end of this year. The router manufacturer recently came with three new products at the same time, the EA6300, EA6400 and the EA6700. That last one is set to replace the EA6500, and looks pretty impressive on paper.

The Netgear R6300 is the first 802.11ac router we are reviewing.As the first router of a new generation, the Netgear R6300 can definitely be called a success. Granted, 1.3 Gbps is still quite a way away, but there are clear performance gains compared to 802.11n.
