The decline of music sales is a trend that's showing no end in sight. The UK experienced a 6% drop in overall sales during 2011, and it should come as a surprise to no one that the blame is going straight to piracy. Given other recent trends, however, I feel there are many other (legal) reasons why this trend continues.

If you own a laptop computer quite often you are limited to a display on a single, or dual screen via DVI or HDMI out. Sapphire have released their new Vid 2X Display Expander, which allows two monitors to be connected to almost any computer, including a netbook, laptop or desktop. With the Vid 2X you don’t need to install drivers or software to get it working, therefore negating any potential issues with your operating system installation. Simply plug in two HD monitors and a USB cable for the power and you can enjoy multi screen viewing.

I have been doing a lot of traveling lately. On thing that I always miss when I am traveling is my 2 large monitors from my home desktop system. Going from them to a laptop screen is not that fun. You can purchase laptops with pull-out screens, but they are few are far between and are quite expensive. So what are you to do if you want a dual-screen setup on your laptop? Get a portable display of course! Today we are talking a look at the On-Lap 1301 Portable Monitor. Have you ever wondered if using air cooling for your computer will be effective in the future with all the concern about global warming? What exactly is causing global warming is up for debate; however, it would be hard for anyone to ignore the climate change we are seeing today. While I don't think global warming is a fair reason to ignore the benefit of adding fans to your chassis, it leaves me wondering how much benefit it will really provide in the future, unless you live in an air conditioned home. What we have here at APH Networks this morning is a set of SilenX's Effizio EFX-12-15 case fans, which will be put through our usual array of rigorous testing. This time around, however, we will be doing three times the normal amount of testing. Why? Well, we have not one, not two, but three fans for us to play with today. This means I will be able to easily see what these fans are capable of doing. Considering they come from a company called SilenX, I hope these fans are dead silent, or I'll be requesting the company change their name, haha. If you are quiet computer enthusiast, you know silence comes with a price tag, but will these fans prove even silence can come at an affordable cost? Well, read on to find out the answer. Oddly enough, I can't help but think about how these fans will be contributing to global warming; this is because the electricity generated here in Calgary is from coal power. Nevertheless, a few extra watts for each fan is not going to cause "The Day After Tomorrow" or "2012", but if it does, don't be blaming me!

Many people i know think that just because people such as I have been working with computers over the past 2 decades they have no other interests or hobbies but that really couldn't be more wrong since i also happen to love many other things including cars, paintball and most things related to music and movies. True i can't actually review cars here (at least not for the time being) but gadgets and electronics related to music have always been in my crosshairs and that's one of the reasons behind today's review which is about one such device. Of course as the title reveals the gadget i am talking about is no other than the Squeezebox Touch Wi-Fi Music player by Logitech.
