The Samsung SyncMaster FX2490HD is a stylish LED monitor / TV that tries to perform the role of two products in one, but doesn't seem to excel at either function. While used as a monitor, it does perform its task very well. But with the lack of a suitable DVI connection and no cable adapter, the user is limited to use the older analog VGA which to some will seem rather outdated for a 2010 product.

Point-and-shoots are great for several occasions, but most fall short in low lighting. With larger sensors helping to combat this problem, a fast lens can also do wonders for low light photography. Samsung has updated its EXF series with an f/1.4 lens, making shooting in low light almost comparable to a budget range DSLR. We find the Samsung EX2F very unique in a sea of point-and-shoot cameras, aptly displayed by the addition of Wi-Fi compatibility for easy sharing over a wide gamut of devices. A modest 12.4 megapixels seems to marry the sensor/aperture, for a properly exposed image with minimum noise at low ISO. Finally, the intuitive menu system that anyone can master, coupled with a brilliant varied-angled AMOLED screen makes the EX2F a very alluring pocket sized camera.

The Apple iPhone started the touch screen craze. Other phones have followed suit some with touch screens alone and some with touch screens and physical keyboards. Now, Samsung has introduced a touch screen phone that utilizes their new Smart Wiz technology along with many multi-media features. We were curious to see just how much these new features added to the usability of the phone, so we were happy to review the Samsung Eternity SGH-A867, which is available through AT&T.

After an evening of 3D Blu-Ray viewing compliments of Samsung's BD-C6900, I can see how integrating 3D Blu-Ray into any consumer's home theater system could be considered a good thing. But the real thing to point out with the BD-C6900, is 3D is not where this product ends. With a fully integrated WIFI connection and the additional movie, video and multimedia functionality, this Blu-Ray player is definitely approaching the gray area just before you enter the realm of the Home Theater PC.

Samsung's 5-Series NP540U3C-A01 Ultrabook is the first laptop to cross PCSTATS test bench with Windows 8 installed and a touch screen. Our first impressions of the new interface are positive - poking at the screen with ones fingers easily compliments the keyboard and touchpad to really bring out the best in Microsoft Windows 8 and crack open a whole new world of applications. The touch screen interface is intuitive to learn, landing Samsung's NP540U3C-A01 ultrabook functionally somewhere between a sup'ed-up tablet and laptop.

The LED TV Series 6 is not a true LED TV but only a backlit one with a standard LCD display, as opposed to CCFL backlit LCD TVs. While not a true LED TV, it is still very stunning. For the most part, colors are more vivid and the picture is more uniform, especially in black scenes. Even though the UN46B6000 doesn't have the best viewing angle and costs much more than a CCFL backlit LCD TV, you're spending money on a power conscious TV that delivers a phenomenal picture you can brag about.

I would consider the 46C5000 as the entry model for this year, there exists a C4000 but with a 32″ panel I hardly consider it a TV. That said even though the C5000 is entry, it won’t disappoint. It manages to pump out a consistent and stunning picture for all your media at any angle you want to watch the TV at. The C5000 is a great place to enter the market at to replace an aging TV without having to deal with fancy features you likely won’t need.
