A strong point of the NUC is the ability to connect three monitors, which is especially handy for professional applications. The inclusion of Intel vPro makes it an interesting device for the business segment. For consumers this feature doesn't have any applications, so for the consumer segment the Gigabyte Brix is probably a more interesting product. An advantage of the NUC is that a number of third parties will develop products specifically for the NUC.
One other small concern we have here is that this system is not cheap with the dock and two bulbs (one would be pointless) and then the user must also provide outlets for the bulbs to work correctly. We have all come to take things being ready to go out of the box for granted. And when it actually came to installing this system in an older house, it's very difficult. We know for a fact that many houses in Australia still use the old bayonet light fittings, so this is not really a good idea. You can just plug a normal speaker system in within a minute or two and have it up and running anywhere you want.
In terms of how it all sounded, things were a little bit mixed. We thought that for vocal material everything sounded quite good with reasonable clarity to the sound and enough volume to get things going. The mid-range frequencies were reasonably well defined as well, but probably just behind the high-end due to the size of the speaker driver used.

It’s been a while since I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing any all-in-one printers, or at least high end ones. For review today I have the latest WorkForce or I should say workhorse from Epson called the WP-4540 that is a beast of a machine in more ways than one. The WP-4540 is full of features like the ability to hold over 500 sheets of paper ready for all of your printing needs. LG is not exactly a household name in the world of computer mice, but the LG LSM-100 Mouse Scanner does right away add an innovative feature to the traditional mouse recipe.
