In almost all of our networking reviews we have talked about Quality of Service or QoS. This handy little feature allows you to adjust priority for different types of network traffic. It makes keeping a network from becoming congested, easy.

Today for review I have a first, at least for me, it’s a desktop PC yes, but it’s an all-in-one style meaning that there’s no ‘tower’ section like a regular computer might have, the kind most of us are accustomed to. An all-in-one PC is a fairly new style of PC meant to save space and actually save you some money too. This type of PC has everything built-into the monitor itself, and then you have your keyboard and mouse and that’s it. The PC I have today is from HP and it’s the new Pavilion All-In-One 200-5020 that features the Intel E5400 Dual Core Processor, along with 4 gigs of ram, a 500 gig hard drive that’s all basically encased inside of a 21.5” HD 1080P LCD monitor. Yes it’s not exactly a high spec machine, but it’s not meant to be, it’s meant to be a moderately priced PC with a good set of features, and it is.

In our daily life we all keep hearing terms like “230V AC power plug”, “AC to DC power supply” and “1.5V DC battery”; however only very few people know and even actually understand the difference between AC and DC current. Through a search engine it is very easy to find that AC stands for “Alternating Current” and DC stands for “Direct Current”, yet understanding their actual differences can prove to be quite the task.

Today for review I'm taking a look at the Zune HD, specifically the 16gb version. This new Zune HD has many new features over the original Zune, specifically of course the touch screen. The other Zunes were navigated with directional pad and buttons, that's gone now in favor of full multitouch navigation through the screen. This new Zune offers HD radio, and Internet browsing and sync as well over wireless connection. I've tossed a few things on my Zune HD already like many games and apps, along with videos and music and spent some time with it so read on to learn more about it...

If you want to listen to music on an iPod, you have to fill the device with music. You either rip the music from a CD that you purchased, or you purchase music online and move it to the device. Either way you have to pay for the music player, pay for the music, and make sure that the music is properly loaded on the device. That can add up to a big cost and a lot of effort. The Myine Electronics Company thinks they have a better way. Why not automatically record music from the radio, cut out the commercials, let you choose the songs you want to keep, and automatically transfer them to a digital music player? That's what the Abbee commercial-free music system is all about. It is such a unique idea that we were excited about taking a look at the Abbee.

The desktop PC market isn't dead, it has just moved to different types of machines for the most part. The desktop computer of today is often literally a desktop. With the all-in-one machines like the Acer Aspire AZ5700-U2112 I am looking at today, all of the hardware for the PC is inside the screen.
