Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have Ben’s ViRoiD build. Here is what he had to say about it: Pictures speak louder than words. Getting a 690 to fit in a prodigy is not a big deal until you start thinking about watercooling it, and a cpu, and ram. I wanted a color that matched the p8z77-i, and blue was the ticket. The orange case was chosen because of its location opposite of blue on the color wheel. Modding the front of the case to fit the 200mm rad was fun, plus it gave me some extra materials to make some psu covers with.
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have Chris McDermott's "The Dual" build. Here is what he had to say about it: The Dual was just an idea from a lan party with my first build in the Elysium case, and a comment of ' the case is so big you could fit TWO computers in side.'. Well that got me thinking and well a lot of measuring and modding, on the inside, I want to keep the outsode looking the same, and you can see the end result. As for the rads, well I needed to go external with the water and when i saw these rads i just had to have a pair of them to make sure it was The Dual.
Just a Fractal Design XL Black Pearl USB3.0 version modded up. Wanted something very simple but eye-catching. Had planned on not having a window, but once I got started…kept adding this and that. Ripped the window in it because everyone I showed build pics to said it would be a shame to not be able to see the interior. Not 100% finished yet. Still got a few odds and ends to get to.
For this mod I used a Silverstone TJ11. To many, this is the most coveted full tower water cooling case to own and mod. I decided to do a Steampunk mod because there are not very many out there. Not saying I could out do any of them, I just thought it would be a really fun thing to try. Most of my ideas came from looking at photos online of clothing, jewelry and just old Steampunk style photos. I also did not play very much of this mod. I just played it by ear as I went. Overall I am very pleased with how it came out and I fully plan on doing another one in the future.

Here is what he had to say about it: It's my second project, but the first with such dedication, at first were some simple changes but slowly began to appear new ideas that led me to change the entire interior to adapt to the watercooling. I am very happy with the mod to be better than I expected.

At first I started only to design the side panel. Because the original side panel was lost by the courier or claimed so after I sent it for custom window. But then more and more ideas came in, even though this is my first time modding, I said to myself just to give it a try. Monochromos means single color, which is why I used black and white. Because black is one color while white is sometime known as not ‘a’ color because it is the result of combination of all the rainbow colors.
