Geeks was gracious enough to provide us with another monitor for review. Compaq has been around for quite a long time now, so you would expect a good solid product. The monitor is the 21.5” Q2159 1080p Widescreen LCD. It’s a nice design, built good. Out of the box it worked like a charm without any hassles at all. Let’s get down to it and see how it looks and works.

One company who are now giving some focus to expanding their DisplayPort range are Club 3D. Their MST hub (Multi Stream Transport) allows us to run three displays from one DisplayPort connector which opens up a wide number of options for desktop and mobile users. Today we take a look at the MST to see how easy it is to use and what it can do.

The Club3D MST hub does exactly what it promises, making it possible to hook up six monitors to an AMD graphics card that doesn't have six monitor connectors. The hub is useful for more things than just gaming. Having a workplace with three monitors can improve productivity, and since most laptops are equipped with only one digital monitor port, the MST hub is the perfect solution if you don't have a docking station.

Cloud computing has been around for a while now, but because of the initial startup investments, a lot of small businesses have not yet made the jump to this new technology. In some cases, this may be a wise decision, because the tools and resources the cloud offers might not be necessary in such a small office. However, the cloud has made it possible for SMBs to access powerful tools and services – enough that it’s actually possible for them to compete on some level with much larger companies

Today, we look at the new Cisco Linksys Smart Wi-Fi AC 1750 Router that is designed to work with the next generation of Wi-Fi for fast data transfer and media streaming. Brought to you by what is arguably the biggest name in network hardware, Cisco packs the EA6500 with every bell and whistle that you can imagine including the latest 802.11ac wireless standard. Read on to see just how good the Linksys EA6500 is.

The Linksys E4200 still is an excellent router. However, it was released more than a year ago (when it was ahead of its time in some respects), but things have changed somewhat since then. As you will be able to read in our upcoming round-up of 14 450mbps routers, there are a number of routers out there that can run in 450mbps mode on both frequencies. The E4200 only supports this on 5 GHz. This is not a huge deal, since the speed gain of 450mbps versus 300mbps mode on 2.4 GHz is not that significant anyway. Moreover, it's not all about the wireless chip when it comes to the wireless speeds a router can achieve.
In any case, Cisco found it necessary to introduce a successor, indicated by the addition of V2 behind the model number. Nothing was changed on the exterior of the router, so it still fits perfectly within the new design that was started with the original E4200. It's a different story with the interior though, which we'll see in the review. We also need to mention that the price will stay the same, as the V2 replaces the original E4200, which will gradually be phased out, or perhaps has been phased out already. This obviously depends on the stock shops have.

I’ve taken a look at a few media players here on TestFreaks and most are fairly decent and honestly they’re all pretty similar at least in the interfaces. Today for review I’ve got another one from Cirago called the CiragoTV Pro CTP1000. It’s a media player with HDMI, Component and Composite outputs so you can use it with any TV and it includes a 500gig hard drive for you storage. The CTP1000 also has a memory card reader and a USB port so you can read directly from memory cards, USB flash drives or USB hard drives so you can expand the storage or quickly view things without transferring them to the main hard drive. One thing about this product though is that it’s UBS only for transfers, there’s no networking with this unit, is that a good thing or a bad thing? Read on..

Cirago has introduced one of the most feature-packed media players we have seen. Sporting a whopping 2-Terabyte hard drive and the ability to download BitTorrent files, and record a source, this player even comes with a Wi-Fi dongle for free. Do all of these features justify the $300 price tag? Read on to find out what we thought of the Cirago's new flagship media player.
