COOKOO started as a project on Kickstarter and one of the available products is the Connected watch. When paired with the COOKOO CONNECTED APP from our iOS device, we’ll get different visual alerts on the LCD screen for incoming calls, missed calls, Facebook messages and more. The manufacturer promises continuous support and enhancements of the CONNECTED APP, but also a build for Android devices.
Setting up Intel Smart Response Technology is pretty straightforward since the SSD is already installed to a mSATA port. In time for Computex, Cooler Master announced two new cases that the company demoed back at CeBIT, alongside a few new CM Strom products which included a new headset and a new mouse. The company was also showing off a new CM Storm chassis, some new 80 Plus Platinum PSUs and a new CPU cooler, plus a few secrets that we can’t really tell you about, yet.
Despite the lack of normal show goers there is plenty to see and I started my trek at Hall 1 (the main building) and then migrated to the Grand Hyatt Hotel for my first meeting with EVGA. Even though CeBIT still is one of the biggest tradeshows in Europe, most big vendors seem to slowly but steadily be less and less present at the Hannover hallen. Most of the big names, either have rented hotel suites outside the CeBIT fair or are solely represented at the Planet Resellers booth. Secondly most new hardware launches are done at CES in Las Vegas or at the center of the computing world, Taipei City in Taiwan. This year we opted to go to the Computex Tradeshow to visit an old friend and gather with some of world's most famous overclockers. Time to bag up and head inbound Taiwan !
