I love toys and being a dad means I can get and play with all kinds of toys. My favorite is pretty much anything remote control, but helicopters hold a special place for me. Today for review I’ve got the Griffin Helo TC Assault which is a remote control helicopter that can be controller with either iOS or Android devices. The Helo TC Assault is special though in that it has missiles that actually fire, yes you can have a lot of fun with this little gadget.
Overall, I like the Viewsonic VA2323wm 23" widescreen LCD monitor very much. The picture quality is excellent and this refurbished model is in such great condition that it could pass for new. The 23" screen was an upgrade from my precious 20" monitor, and while it may sound silly to say, that extra 3" really does make a difference.

Up on the review block today I’ve got another HD webcam from Logitech, the C510. A little bit ago I looked at the C910, which is pretty much the top end camera, this C510 is more middle range offering 720P resolution. The resolution is lower but the features are the same like pan, tilt and zoom and numerous special effects. The C510 even includes a nice little carrying case so you can take it with you and keep it protected
On our Windows 8 test platform we were able to quickly see the benefits of running with the C6 and C7 power states enabled. We found that with C6/C7 disabled that the system would idle between 23.7 and 24.1 Watts, but with them enabled we were seeing between 20.5 to 21.2 Watts. Both numbers are impressive as you have to keep in mind that the whole system is being measures here with a Kill-A-Watt power meter at the wall outlet...

Stando alla dicitura “Pump”, è lecito aspettarsi quindi che sia in grado di alimentare un sistema a liquido dedicato, ed infatti siamo dinanzi ad unità dotata di 6 canali da 36W cadauno. Facciamo presente che è stata appena inaugurata la nuova procedura di test per i fan controller, che permetterà anche l’analisi del carico in W sul singolo canale, che quindi ci permetterà di verificare direttamente il funzionamento dell’unità secondo quanto dichiarato dal produttore. In the past I have taken a look at a ice variety of small form factor PCs. Out of all of them I was most impressed with the NUC. Not only did it have the smallest form factor, but it also performed extremely well. It really opened up my eyes to the possibility that only gamers and enthusiasts will be sporting full or mid-sized PCs in the future. We already see a lot of people moving to just using a laptop or even a tablet. So beyond the NUC I was really curious about other NUC like PCs like the Brix from Gigabyte. Well today I have the chance to check out the Brix GB-BXA8-5557, an AMD based PC that has a similar footprint to Intel’s NUC. Let’s see what it is all about and find out if it can hold its own in the performance benchmarks compared to the others.
