Today for review I’ve got a camera from Compro called the IP55 and it features a megapixel sensor for high quality images. The camera can be used as your own security system to monitor your home, or business. The IP55 is very easy to setup and use, in just a few minutes you’ll be up and running with no problems. The included software is very useful, it even includes a monitoring system and it’s own DDNS as well so you don’t have to do much to get things setup for monitoring and remote viewing. Read on to check it out…

In tough economic times it's never a bad plan to diversify; it seems that applies to large companies too. Sapphire, makers of ATI graphics cards for desktop systems have often branched out into motherboards and the like, but now they're entering the display game too. However, not with a standard LCD or LED monitor, but an LED projector.

In reality the EX7200 is a small multimedia powerhouse that works as well for your theater room as it does for your conference room. I currently have a prototype Hauppauge Colossus HD PVR in my development HTPC and wanted to start a Q\A thread here at Missing Remote. Note, I am using a prototype board so my experience may vary slightly from the production boards but not significantly. So far it has been stable. I am using two boards, one with digital audio and the other with stereo audio to compare and track potential stability differences. There are four inputs. 1- HDMI; 2- A dongle that provides either component video + analog audio or composite video + analog audio; 3- TOSLINK SPDIF (digital optical) input; 4- IR receiver (shared with the IR blaster).

The home networking market is one that is booming with technology, but is quite stagnant in terms of aesthetics. If you look things over you really are getting the same shell even if you get more features or more speed from your choice of router. It has gotten so bad lately that many people are not bothering to worry about "what it looks like" anymore. For us it has become like trying to describe cereal boxes. It is very difficult to find something new with each product we test. True, sometimes you get a flashy LCD screen, or different color lights, but that is about it.
