LG’s 55LM960V is a very attractive and thin TV with a different-looking base, and the image-quality is outstanding. The contrast was a little bit of a let-down, considering that the nano full LED technology has more potential. The colour rendering is very good, and LG's passive 3D technology works well, preferable over active 3D because it's easier on the eyes. A nice library of 3D content is included even. The TV is complete in terms of features, and the Smart TV functionality is very comprehensive.

The “cloud” may the the cliché buzzword of the year, but leveraging it has saved me a lot of hassle transporting (and sharing) files to the OCMS staff. When we write articles, we have to share assets like product images, screenshots, graphics for watermarks, documents, and benchmarking software for testing. We used to do this through our own FTP server or forum software, each of which have their own set of problems.

Based on the testing, the WBR-6001 was considerably slower than using the ethernet card on my laptop. This was confounding because the ethernet is only 100 Mbps while 802.11n should be 300 Mbps. Although I could only connect at 144 Mbps, it should still be faster than the ethernet connection or at least just as fast (since the desktop was connected to the LAN) which was not the case. While there could be a number of reasons for the slow performance, there is no denying that the WBR-6001 is very easy to set up. The web-based configuration is great and all the features are explained with the extensive help function.

Several times in the past, Acer has made moves that directly affected Lenovo’s business. When you are mainly a desktop user and are used to your home setup it is very uncomfortable and hard to get adjusted to a different system or a laptop. This happens to me all the time when I am traveling, especially because my home system is setup with dual displays. Laptops only have 1 screen, but what if I was to tell you that Lenovo has a light in thin portable travel monitor that you can plug into a laptop or PC that has a USB connection? The monitor I am talking about is the ThinkVision LT1421. Read on as we check it out!

Workstations and business related products are not normally what we cover here at ThinkComputers. We are more consumer and enthusiast based, but our friends at Lenovo asked us if we would take a look at their latest workstation system the ThinkStation S30. We decided why not since we never cover things like this and who knows many some of you reading this review might pick up a few of these for your office. The ThinkStation S30 we are taking a look at today features an Intel Xeon E5-1620 Sandy Bridge processor, NVIDIA Quadro 2000 graphics, 8GB of DDR3-1333 memory, and two Seagate 500GB 7200 RPM drives in a RAID 0 setup. Let’s see what the S30 is all about!

Lenovo has created a very interesting mini-system with the Lenovo ThinkCentre M92. It has boiled down the computer to its bare essentials, but everything you need is included. The system is energy-efficient, and it offers decent performance with the Intel Core i3-2120T. If you're looking for a small and efficient PC with management features, then the ThinkCentre M92 USFF is a very interesting option.
