The first thing which we need to say about Fallout New Vegas is that it has no relation to specific events in Fallout 3, or the original games for that matter. We are now in 2281; two hundred years after the Great War between the USA and China which turned the world into a nuclear wasteland and joining us are a whole new bunch of characters and location. For this reason previous experience with Fallout is not essential.

Fallout 3 wurde durchweg von der Presse gelobt, nun schickt Bethesda Softworks den Nachfolger, Fallout New Vegas, ins Rennen um die Gunst der Spieler. Was sich an Gameplay, Optik und Co getan hat und in wie weit sich New Vegas vom Vorgänger unterscheidet, ist in nachfolgendem Review zu erfahren.
In all the Fallout games there has always been a downed alien space ship and if you had been exploring the wastelands of Fallout 3 you would have already noticed it .... sending out an ominous distress call. This call gets answered and once again Bethesda Game Studios have a foundation for another downloadable expansion pack for their hugely successful futuristic title.
Fallout 3 is the 3rd game of the Fallout series. The first 2 were major hits and cult classics, with incredible plot and substance to satisfy the RPG gamer in everyone. Fallout 3 was changed a little. It is now a first person shooter, where as the previous 2 were top down turn based combat games. Because Fallout 3 is a first person shooter, many things were changed in the game that wouldn't work in a non-turn based game. Many good things were left out because of this, but the overall fun is still there, making for a fun game with a huge world to explore. Things to note. The game is a first person SHOOTER. This means that combat is a lot harder than with a turn based game, because you actually have to aim and attack things manually instead of a system where your stats affect how good you hit. There is an adjusted V.A.T. combat system that helps with the popular aiming that Fallout 1 and 2 had. Sadly they didn't extend this to all weapons, so guns are the only weapons you can aim at body parts. That doesn't make the other weapons any less fun, just not as beneficial as guns
If you are a Fallout fan and enjoy a post apocalyptic gaming environment with a great storyline then Fallen Earth might just be the title to relieve those end of year holiday blues. Twisted mutants roam the desolate landscape and sinister splinter groups worship computer AI characters.
With its F1 and DiRT games, Codemasters has established itself as being one of the better developers out there where racing titles are concerned. But while those games feature realistic environments, vehicles and driving mechanics, F1 Race Stars throws all that out the window to offer a colorful and very interesting kart racer. Let’s check it out.
The last few days I've been getting lost in the crazy world of F1 Race Stars, the latest mental racing title from the racing developers at Codemasters. I wasn't exactly impressed with DiRT Showdown and F1 2012 was good but nothing that really set the world on fire. On the other hand we have seen them create DiRT 3 and GRID, two of the finest racing games of the last generation. So where does F1 Race Stars fit in to all this?
F1 Race Stars sees Codemasters Racing studio head in a completely new direction with the franchise. Here we are bobble headed versions of the real world teams, complete with karts, power-ups, crazy circuits and, in theory, a whole load of fun.
