Not long ago I review the Augen Gentouch78 Android tablet and it wasn’t bad for what it was, but it had several flaws. Today for review I’ve got what has to be the best Android tablet on the market today, the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The one I have is the Verizon version so it works on their network an includes a lot of Verizon apps on it as one might expect. The Tab is of the 7” variety at a resolution of 1024×600 and is running Android 2.2 with a speedy 1ghz Hummingbird CPU in it. It includes a 3mp camera on the back and a front facing 1.3mp one and it only weighs about 14 ounces so it’s powerful and portable.

The Motorola Droid is undoubtedly one of the most popular Android phones on the market today, for good reason it’s a great phone. The Droid name is taken from Star Wars so it’s no surprise that they released an R2D2 themed phone complete with special edition live and still wallpaper and the phone of course aesthetically looks like that famous little droid. I’ve already fully reviewed the Motorola Droid 2, so this isn’t exactly as in-depth of a review, but it does focus on the special Star Wars parts of the phone. So read on to check it out…

Today we are glad to introduce a newly established IT gadget vendor for you; Luxa2 which is a sister company of Thermaltake. Unlike its sister company, Luxa2's priority is the premium IT gadget peripherals instead of computer peripherals and all their products are nicely designed for having a unique lifestyle. Take a look on Luxa2 H1 Touch and we bet you will like it very much; at least we do.

Today for review I’ve got a product that has gotten a bad rap in the early reviews for it. I like getting products like these for review because I want to see for myself. The product I have is the Augen Gentouch78 7” Android Tablet and it was provided by Geeks.com for my review. I did some research and found that the early reviews were slightly flawed, they reviewed a tablet that was different than the one I got and one that didn’t have everything working correctly on it. The Gentouch78 is what one would certainly call a budget tablet, coming in at under $200 so right from the start we’re not expecting much from it. Honestly I’ve enjoyed my time with the tablet, sure it’s not some blazingly fast amazing workhorse tablet but it works and it’s fun to use. It’s a product for those that enjoy tinkering surely, if you’re the type of person that likes to explore and get the most out of your Android based products then this is certainly one for you.

Every once in a while I run across some information that I find intriguing. Even less often, I find something useful, but today is not one of those days. If you haven't guessed it, I am a geek... and geeks love computers. Given that there are 13 of them running in my house at any given time I would say that I qualify as a habitual offender. I find more often now that I use my laptop more than any of the other machines in my house out of brutal convenience though; what I didn't realize is that it has an added bonus.

Today I am going to check out a notebook that most would consider to be an ultraportable notebook with a 13.3-inch screen. This class of machine isn't as portable as the new breed of 11-inch notebooks on the market, but that larger screen is welcomed by some users.

One of my favorite classes of notebooks to use is the ultraportable. These machines are some of the more expensive notebooks you can buy, typically thanks to the small screens, powerful CPUs and the lightweight materials they are made from. The ultraportable is the class aimed at the business user needing all day power, the student moving all around a large campus, or a user that just wants a notebook that is small and sexy.
