Mais aujourd'hui, la donne change, merci à AMD et sa nouvelle plateforme Fusion. We've seen little innovation in laptop design in the last few years. Most companies seem to think that using a brushed aluminum finish or adding Intel's latest mobile CPU is all they need to do to freshen a product line. The Motorola Xoom is the first real competitor to Apple's wildly popular iPad. The Xoom has hardware specs better than the new iPad 2 and it is one of the first tablets to run the new Android 3.0 (Gingerbread) operating system, so we were excited to take a look. Our review unit was the 32 GB Verizon model of the Xoom.
Samsung is doing a good job at hyping us up for their Galaxy S II Android powered smart phone. The Galaxy S II is impossibly thin at just 8.49 mm and still manages to pack a 4.3" Super AMOLED screen. Meanwhile, the thin design doesn't look like it will inhibit processing power as the phone comes with a Dual Core processor accompanied by 16/32GB of memory. With all the excitement surrounding the second iteration of the Galaxy phone, I can only hope that the cell phone carriers will not cripple this as they did with the first series... cough... Verizon / AT&T... cough.
